''Ghar Sansar'' (Home Life) is a Bollywood film. It was released in 1942. The film was a family melodrama produced by Sunrise Pictures and directed by Vishnu M. Vyas, who also wrote the screenplay. The story was written by Mohan G. Dave. The music was composed by Shyam Babu with dialogues and lyrics by Ehsan Rizvi. It starred Sardar Akhtar, Mazhar Khan, Nazir and Kajjan in the main roles. The story is about an elder brother and his wife called Bhabhi (sister-in-law), who make sacrifices in order to bring up the husband's younger brother. The situation in the family gets emotionally worsened when the younger brother marries and his wife creates mis-understandings. Plot Devi Prasad ( Mazhar Khan) lives with his virtuous wife Taramati (Sardar Akhtar) called "Bhabhi" by everyone, and with his younger brother Sundar ( Nazir). Sardar Akhtar
Sardar Akhtar (1915–1986) was an Indian actress who worked in Hindi and Urdu films. She started her acting career on the Urdu stage. Her early films were with Saroj Movietone, where she did a majority of stunt (action) roles. She came into prominence as the washer-woman in the role of Rami Dhoban in Sohrab Modi's '' Pukar'' (1939). As a woman seeking justice for the death of her husband, it was a breakthrough role for her. A popular song she sang in the film was "Kaheko Mohe Chhede". Her career defining role was as a "peasant woman" deserted by her husband, in Mehboob Khan's '' Aurat'' (1940), a role later made famous by Nargis in Mehboob's remake ''Mother India''. Nazir Ahmed Khan
Nazir Ahmad Khan ( ur, ) (1904 – 26 August 1983) was a Pakistani film actor, director and producer. Biography It was back in 1929, when a young artistic man left the city of Lahore to go to Calcutta to fulfill his passion and make movies. This man was Nazir Ahmed Khan (1910-1983), a Kakazai Pathan, determined to make a mark on the silver screen of the sub-continent. Nazir Ahmed Khan was a versatile and renowned Pakistani/Indian film actor, director and producer. He was the first successful film hero in Pre-Partition India and later in Pakistan. He was widely known as Bao Jee in the film industries on both sides of the border. It was in the late 1920s when Nazir went to Calcutta along with AR Kardar, and appeared in a character role in Kardar’s ‘Sarfarosh’ aka ‘Brave Heart’ in 1929. Mazhar Khan (actor, Born 1905)
Mazhar Khan (18 October 1905 – 24 September 1950) was an actor-producer-director in Indian Cinema. He was widely known for his natural performances. He started his career as a police officer, which he left to study law for a short period. Abandoning his studies he came to Bombay and started his career in cinema with the silent film ''Fatal Garland'' opposite the top actress of the time, Ermeline. He became a popular actor, gaining success in several silent films. During his stint in silent films he worked with well-established directors like Bhagwati Mishra, Ezra Mir, Moti P. Bhagnani, R. S. Chowdhary, and M. D. Bhavnani. The magazines of those days, circa 1940s, compared Mazhar to Hollywood actors like Paul Muni, Bela Lugosi and Boris Karloff.
