Home Grown
Home Grown was a North American ska punk/pop punk band formed in 1994 in Orange County, California. They released three full-length albums and several EPs before disbanding in 2005. Their music is often characterized as pop punk, lyrically favoring humor and silly or satirical subjects. Band history Formation Home Grown was formed in Orange County in 1994. The original recording lineup of the band consisted of John "John E. Trash" Tran on guitar and vocals, Adam "Adumb" Lohrbach on bass and vocals, Ian "Slur" Cone on guitar and backing vocals, and Bob Herco on drums. The quartet began experimenting with elements of punk rock, pop, surf and skate music, and humorous lyrics to craft their sound. When It All Comes Down
''When It All Comes Down'' is an EP by the rock band Home Grown, released in 2004 by Drive-Thru Records. It was the band's final release, as they went on "indefinite hiatus" the following year. The EP found the band moving away from the humor-filled pop punk of their previous releases and towards more heartfelt and emotional subject matter. Bassist Adam Lohrbach would carry these stylistic elements over to his subsequent band New Years Day and continue to expand on them. Warped Tour
The Warped Tour was a traveling rock tour that toured the United States plus three or four stops in Canada annually each summer from 1995 until 2019. It was the largest traveling music festival in the United States and the longest-running touring music festival to date in North America. Following the first Warped Tour, the skateboard shoe manufacturer Vans became the tour’s main sponsor, when it then became known as the Vans Warped Tour. Vans toured Australia in 1998-2002 and again in 2013. ''Kings of Pop'' is the third and final album by the rock band Home Grown, released in 2002 by Drive-Thru Records. It was the band's first release with the drummer Darren Reynolds and its only release as a trio, having lost the second guitarist in 2000. Background and production Home Grown released their second studio album '' Act Your Age'' in June 1998 through Outpost Recordings. Following this, the label folded and drummer Bob Herco had sustained a brain tumor; their line-up shifted a few times in the process. On June 13, 2001, the band signed to Drive-Thru Records. Following this, the band supported Reel Big Fish and Goldfinger on their co-headlining US tour in July and August 2001. Pilfers are an American ska band formed in 1997, when former Toasters vocalist, Coolie Ranx, at the urging of Pietaster's vocalist Steve Jackson, joined with former Bim Skala Bim trombonist, Vinny Nobile. To complete the lineup, they recruited the Skinnerbox rhythm section of Anna Milat-Meyer on bass and James Blanck on drums, as well as guitar player, Nick Bacon of The Erratics. The Amazing Crowns (formerly Amazing Royal Crowns) was a rock band that began in Providence, Rhode Island in 1993. Limbeck is an American rock band that formed in Laguna Niguel, California in 1999. The group featured Robb MacLean on lead vocals and guitar, Patrick Carrie guitar and backing vocals, Justin Entsminger on bass, and Jon Phillip, who replaced Matthew Stephens on drums in 2005. Their sound was a mix of alternative country with pop punk origins. Their first album, ''This Chapter Is Called Titles'', was released in 2000.
