Home Front (TV Series)
''Home Front'' is a lifestyle television series that aired on TVNZ's channel Television One in New Zealand. It combines "home makeover" ideas, home maintenance and DIY tips, and guided tours around the homes of well-known New Zealanders. The series premiered on 6 July 2000 with several series of 13 episodes each. ''Home Front'' was hosted by Jayne Kiely, Dave Cull, and Sally Ridge, each of whom covered a particular area of the show. Kiely was the primary presenter, and also presented the guided tours. Cull presented hints and advice for DIYers (do-it-yourselfers), and Ridge presented the home makeovers section of the show. Alison Mau
Alison Mau () (born 14 February 1965), known professionally as Ali Mau, is an Australian-born New Zealand journalist and broadcaster. She is a former television news anchor, former co-host of the TVNZ current affairs show '' Seven Sharp'', former co-presenter of the consumer affairs show ''Fair Go'', and former co-host of TVNZ '' Breakfast'' programme. Mau is a former talkback radio host on RadioLIVE, a nationwide Auckland-based New Zealand talkback, news and sport radio network owned and operated by MediaWorks New Zealand. Mau is currently an Op-ed columnist at The Sunday Star-Times weekend newspaper, and a contributor on the Stuff news website. Mau currently leads a team of journalists at Stuff in the recently launched 2018 national #metoonz investigation into sexual harassment in New Zealand, supported by Stuff. Dave Cull
David Charles Cull (1 April 1950 – 27 April 2021) was the mayor of the city of Dunedin in New Zealand. He became the 57th Mayor of Dunedin in October 2010 and was re-elected in both the 2013 mayoralty race and 2016 mayoral election. Before politics, he was a presenter for Television New Zealand and an author. He obtained a BA and PG Dip in political science at the University of Otago. Sally Ridge
Sally Ridge is an interior designer, television personality and socialite from Auckland, New Zealand. She is currently working as a real estate agent in Auckland city. Career Ridge has been a television presenter on several shows dealing with interior decorating, including the TVNZ television series, ''Home Front'' and '' Changing Rooms''. She was also one of the celebrities, on the 2001 New Zealand series of ''Celebrity Treasure Island''. Along with Anita Simpson, she ran 24 Simpson Ridge, an interior design company. She formed clothing company James & August Ltd. in 2004. This failed, and went into liquidation in May 2010. The liquidation report filed with the Companies Office stated that the company owed $1 million.
