One Kind Of Love
"One Kind of Love" is a song written by Brian Wilson and Scott Bennett, released as the eleventh track on Wilson's eleventh studio album ''No Pier Pressure'' on April 7, 2015. A music video debuted online two months later in June. It is one of the few songs on the album which does not give a writing credit to Joe Thomas. The song was written for Bill Pohlad's film '' Love & Mercy'' and appears on its accompanying soundtrack. Critical reception ''The Telegraph'' drew comparisons between it and the french horn in "God Only Knows". In a review that called ''No Pier Pressure'' "inessential listening", ''the New York Observer ''The New York Observer'' was a weekly newspaper printed from 1987 to 2016, when it ceased print publication and became the online-only newspaper ''Observer''. The media site focuses on culture, real estate, media, politics and the entertainmen ...'' wrote that "One Kind of Love" was evidence that "Wilson can still throw one ''hell'' of a melody out there." ...

Love & Mercy (film)
''Love & Mercy'' is a 2014 American biographical drama film directed by Bill Pohlad about the Beach Boys' co-founder and leader Brian Wilson and his struggles with mental illness during the 1960s and 1980s. It stars Paul Dano and John Cusack as the young and middle-aged Wilson, respectively, with Elizabeth Banks as his second wife Melinda Ledbetter and Paul Giamatti as his psychologist Dr. Eugene Landy. The title comes from Wilson's 1988 song. The film alternates between Wilson's production of the album '' Pet Sounds'' (1966) and his treatment under Landy's 24-hour therapy program in the late 1980s. Wilson called the film "very factual", albeit containing parts that "weren't actually as factual". He had little involvement with its making, although Ledbetter was relied upon for the 1980s portions. The cast and crew maintained that nothing in the film was a "Hollywood" embellishment and that everything was intended to be as truthful as possible. Conversely, Landy's son Evan felt t ...

2015 In Film
2015 in film is an overview of events, including the highest-grossing films, award ceremonies, festivals, and a list of films released and notable deaths. Evaluation of the year Richard Brody of ''The New Yorker'' described 2015 as, "one of Hollywood's worst years" but also stated that it was also "a terrific year for movies over all". He emphasized that, "The anticipated Oscarizables have mainly ranged from the blandly enjoyable to the droningly disastrous. Partly, the problem is merely one of scheduling: most of Hollywood's inspired directors, the ones whose images have a natural musical sublimity and complexity, weren't on call this year. My list reflects the unfortunate accident of a calendar year with no release by many of the best American directors working in or out of the Hollywood system, such as Martin Scorsese, Sofia Coppola, Wes Anderson, Miranda July, Terrence Malick, James Gray, David Fincher, Steven Soderbergh, and Paul Thomas Anderson." Highest-grossing films ...
