David Pomeranz
David Pomeranz (born February 9, 1951) is an American singer, composer, lyricist, and writer for musical theatre. He is also an ambassador for Operation Smile. Solo career Born and raised on Long Island, Pomeranz expressed interest in music from an early age, singing in the synagogue choir, learning to play the piano, guitar and drums, and writing and recording songs by the age of fourteen. From October 1968 to January 1969, he was lead singer for the Ohio-based rock band East Orange Express and when Pomeranz left the group, fellow member Dan Schear took over. When he was nineteen, MCA/Decca signed him to a contract that yielded two albums, ''New Blues'' and ''Time To Fly'' (the latter featuring Chick Corea), and he began touring the country as the opening act for Rod Stewart, Billy Joel, Three Dog Night and The Doors, among others. ''Tracks'' is the debut studio album by Liverpool Express, released in June 1976 (UK). It features two of the band's most memorable songs, "You Are My Love" and "Every Man Must Have a Dream", both of which were Top 10 hits in Europe and South America, and Top 20 hits in the UK. Other notable hit singles were "Hold Tight" and "Smile". The album was released on CD for the first time in 2017, along with '' Dreamin''' and ''L.E.X.''. Bob Carolgees
Bob Carolgees (born Robert Frederick Johnson; 12 May 1948) is a British comedy entertainer who appeared on the Saturday morning TV series ''Tiswas'' and then later in its adult versions '' O.T.T.'' and '' Saturday Stayback''. He is best known for appearing with a canine puppet named Spit the Dog. Carolgees also worked for eight years on the TV show '' Surprise Surprise'' and on children's game show ''Concentration''. In popular culture he has cameo roles with Spit the Dog. Career In the early 1970s Carolgees ran a DJ and modelling school in Liverpool. After a five-week course, DJs and models were tested in front of an audience at the Sportsmans Club in central Liverpool. He first appeared in a guest spot on ''Tiswas'' on 31 March 1979. ''Hold Tight'' is a 2008 thriller and the ninth stand-alone novel by American crime writer Harlan Coben. The story deals with problems of parental controls, teenage suicide, children independence and abuse of prescribed drugs. It features several characters that are equally important. It was moderately well received by the critics. It debuted simultaneously as a No. 1 ''New York Times'' best seller and a Times of London best seller. A Polish language miniseries television adaptation was developed for Netflix. Plot The story is introduced with the characters Marianne, Nash, and Pietra. ''Collage'' is a compilation album by American glam metal band Ratt. It consists of alternate recordings, B-sides, and versions of songs from the band's Mickey Ratt period. It was mostly recorded and released in 1997, concurrently with Ratt's reunion tour, so that they would have a new album to promote. In 1998, the band would sign a new major label deal with Sony. The track "Mother Blues" first appeared as an Arcade song on their 1993 self-titled release, but was originally a Ratt demo, ending up on ''Collage''. Mark Geary
Mark Geary is an Irish singer-songwriter born in Dublin, Ireland, into a large family with seven siblings, one of whom is actor Karl Geary. In 1992 he emigrated to New York City with a one-way ticket after winning a lottery green card. Living in New York's East Village, Mark honed his craft and sang alongside the best of them in Sin-é cafe, including the late Jeff Buckley. Time Out NY said, "His delicate songs about love and defiance recall Richard Thompson and John Lennon." Greg Johnson (musician)
Greg Johnson (born 7 January 1968) is a New Zealand singer songwriter. Music career Johnson was born in Auckland, New Zealand. Starting out in school orchestras and choirs, Johnson quickly graduated to the early New Wave scene playing in bands from age 15 at many of the infamous live venues that scattered NZ and post punk years, including Mainstreet Cabaret, the Reverb Room, The Windsor Castle and The Esplanade Hotel.
