Hockley Hustle
The Hockley Hustle is an annual, one-day music and arts festival held at multiple venues in Nottingham and centred around the Hockley area. Running since 2006, it has raised over £150,000 for various charities and communities History The festival began life in 2006 as part of Oxjam (a music festival raising money for Oxfam) and initially had seven venues involved. It has since grown, incorporating over 30 venues and more than 300 acts. Since its inception, it has raised over £150,000 for various local charities. Hockley is an area near the city centre of Nottingham, England. It lies adjacent to the Lace Market area and has many well-preserved Victorian buildings. There has been a mercantile presence in the area since at least the 13th century. With many bars, restaurants and clothes shops, it is a vibrant and modern area of the city. Saint Raymond (musician)
Callum Burrows (born 30 March 1995), known professionally as Saint Raymond, is a singer-songwriter from Nottingham. He has released two albums, four EPs and a number of singles. Early career Burrows grew up in Bramcote, Nottingham. He took the 'Saint Raymond' name from the street that he grew up on and his grandfather's name. He began his career playing small gigs and open mic nights around Nottingham before gaining popularity in 2013 when he released his self penned, debut extended play ''Escapade'' on Gabrielle Aplin's Never Fade Records. Sheku Kanneh-Mason
Sheku Kanneh-Mason (born 4 April 1999) is a British cellist who won the 2016 BBC Young Musician award. He was the first Black musician to win the competition since its launch in 1978. He played at the wedding of Prince Harry to Meghan Markle on 19 May 2018 under the direction of Christopher Warren-Green. As of 2021, Kanneh-Mason plays a Matteo Goffriller cello which was made in 1700. Early life and education Kanneh-Mason grew up in Nottingham, England.
