Ho99o9 Albums
Ho99o9 (pronounced Horror) is an American punk rap group founded by theOGM and Yeti Bones in 2012 in Newark, New Jersey. They relocated to Los Angeles in 2014. They attracted a cult following on account of their live performance and began collaborating with Ian Longwell who plays drums and produces for Santigold. In 2016, former Black Flag member Brandon Pertzborn became the band's drummer. They were one of ''Rolling Stone''s "10 New Artists You Need to Know" in 2014 and ''The Guardian''s "New Band of the Week". They have performed at the Afropunk Festival in 2014, the SXSW Music Festival in 2015 and Primavera Sound Festival in 2016. To date, they have released multiple EPs, accompanied by grindhouse-style music videos, and two full-length albums, ''United States of Horror'' (2017) and ''SKIN'' (2022). Primavera Sound Festival
Primavera Sound (commonly referred to as simply Primavera) is an annual music festival held in Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona, Spain that takes place between the end of May and beginning of June. The first edition took place in 2001 in Poble Espanyol and moved to the Parc del Fòrum, a much larger site on the seafront, in 2005. The nature of the festival (urban and an integrated part of the city) and the wide range of bands represented have made Primavera Sound a meeting point for artists and spectators from all generations. Primavera Sound is one of the largest and most-attended music festivals in Europe and the biggest in the Mediterranean. The success of the festival led to an expansion to Porto in 2012. Ninjasonik
Ninjasonik are a Brooklyn-based rap duo composed of frontman Telli and DJ-turned-vocalist Jah-Jah. Biography Ninjasonik started in late 2006-early 2007 when fellow DJ's Jah Jah Brown and Kevin Ross began writing and recording songs in Bushwick, NY. The original songs were best described as sarcastic incantations which lyrically played with themes like pregnancy and racial identities. The tunes were sung over beats similar to Baltimore Club Music. In mid-2007, they released a mixtape which featured a handful of original songs mixed with various other tracks. The Death Set
The Death Set (also typeset as TheDeathSet or The DeathSet) is an experimental music band with roots in punk rock, sometimes referred to as art punk. The band formed in 2005 in Sydney. Six months after its inception, the band moved to the United States, living in Baltimore, Philadelphia and Brooklyn respectively, where the band found an audience for its style of experimental, cross genre, punk rock. Cerebral Ballzy is an American punk rock band from Brooklyn, New York, United States. The band was formed in 2008 and released their debut, self-titled, album on 26 July 2011. The album was released in full as an online preview on the ''Revolver'' magazine website. Cerebral Ballzy are known for their love of 1980s punk, along with a keen interest in drinking, girls, pizza and skateboarding. Japanther was an American punk band established by Matt Reilly and Ian Vanek, then students at Pratt Institute. Japanther was featured in the 2006 Whitney Biennial and the 2011 Venice Biennale, and collaborated with a diverse pool of artists such as gelitin, Penny Rimbaud, Gee Vaucher, Dan Graham, Eileen Myles, Kevin Bouton-Scott, robbinschilds, Dawn Riddle, Claudia Meza, Todd James, Devin Flynn, Ninjasonik, Anita Sparrow and Spank Rock. Linden is a city in southeastern Union County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey.
