Hlaing Township
Hlaing Township ( my, လှိုင် မြို့နယ်, ), also spelt Hline, is an area of Yangon, Myanmar in the West Yangon District of Yangon Region. The township is entirely urban and comprises 16 wards. In 2000, the township's population was estimated to be about 125,000. Geography Hlaing Township is an urbanized township on mostly flat terrain on the east bank of the Hlaing River. Hlaing Township is bordered by Mayangon township and Thamaing Creek in the north, Mayangon township and Inya Lake in the east, Kamayut Township and Tadaphyu Stream in the south and the Hlaing River and Hlaingthaya Township in the west. The climate of the township ranges between 40'C and 12'C with an average of 118 days of rain in a year. A few plants grow within the town including jackfruit, tamarind, flame trees and banyan trees. Kamayut Township
Kamayut Township ( my, ကမာရွတ် မြို့နယ်, ; also spelt Kamaryut Township) is located in the north central part of Yangon. The township comprises ten wards, and shares borders with Hlaing township in the north, Hlaing township and Kyimyindaing township in the west, the Inya Lake, Bahan township and Mayangon township in the east, and Sanchaung township in the south. One of the most prosperous areas in Yangon (a prime upmarket area), Kamayut is also the "college town" of the Yangon. Pyay Road which cuts across the township is lined with many education and media related institutions such as Myanmar Radio and Television headquarters. Yangon City Development Committee
Yangon City Development Committee ( my, ရန်ကုန်မြို့တော် စည်ပင်သာယာရေး ကော်မတီ, abbreviated YCDC) is the administrative body of Yangon, the largest city and former capital of Myanmar (Burma). It consists of 20 departments, with headquarters in the Yangon City Hall. The committee's chairman also acts as the city's mayor. The YCDC is technically independent of the government, and raises its own revenues through tax collection, fees, licenses and property development. Burmese Indians are a group of people of Indian origin who live in Myanmar (Burma). The term 'Burmese Indian' refers to a broad range of people from South Asia, most notably from present-day countries such as India, Bangladesh and also Pakistan. While Indians have lived in Burma for many centuries, most of the ancestors of the current Burmese Indian community emigrated to Burma from the start of British rule in the mid-19th century to the separation of British Burma from British India in 1937. The General Administration Department ( my, အထွေထွေအုပ်ချုပ်ရေးဦးစီးဌာန, abbreviated GAD) is a civil service body that staffs all regional and state-level governments in Myanmar and provides administration for the country's myriad districts and townships. A banyan, also spelled "banian", is a fig that develops accessory trunks from adventitious prop roots, allowing the tree to spread outwards indefinitely. ''Delonix regia'' is a species of flowering plant in the bean family Fabaceae, subfamily Caesalpinioideae native to Madagascar. It is noted for its fern-like leaves and flamboyant display of orange-red flowers over summer.
