Hitfist OWS
Hitfist OWS is a remotely operated turret, for armored vehicles, developed by the Italian Oto Melara and derived from Hitfist. The turrets are designed to mount a main armament of an autocannon of 25 or 30 mm. The main armament may mount a co-axial machine gun. A variant allows the operator to aim and fire anti-tank missiles. The turret is normally operated by a gunner who remains inside the vehicle, using remote optics and remote control. However, in the event of a power failure, the gunner can use a hatch primarily designed for reloading ammunition to aim and fire the turrets weapons manually. In 2010 Oto Melara licensed Bumar-Labedy, a manufacturer in Poland, to manufacture the turret for Poland's armed forces. OTO Melara was a subsidiary of the Italian company Finmeccanica, today Leonardo, active in the defence sector, with factories in Brescia and La Spezia. Bumar-Labedy is an arms manufacturer based in Poland. It is a division of the Polish Armaments Group. The Hitrole is a remote weapons station manufactured by Italian arms company Oto Melara (merged into Leonardo S.p.A., previously Finmeccanica since 2016). The ''"role"'' portion of the name is short for "''R''emotely ''O''perated, ''L''ight ''E''lectrical". The turret can mount a variety of lighter automatic weapons, including , , machine guns, and automatic grenade launchers. Leonardo recently presented the new line of Lionfish remote-controlled small-caliber systems, which consists of four models: the Ultralight, the Inner Reloading and the Top with a 12.7 mm caliber, and the 20 model with a 20 mm caliber. Automatic Grenade Launcher
An automatic grenade launcher (AGL) or grenade machine gun is a grenade launcher that is capable of fully automatic fire, and is typically loaded with either an ammunition belt or magazine. These weapons are often mounted on vehicles or helicopters, as when these weapons are moved by infantry the weapon, its tripod, and ammunition, are a heavy load, requiring a small team. Other types of grenade launchers are typically much lighter and can easily be carried by just a single soldier.
