Hinglo River
The Hinglo River (also spelt Hinglow) is a tributary of the Ajay River in the Indian states of Jharkhand and West Bengal. Course The Hinglo has its source in Santhal Parganas, runs parallel to the Ajay for some distance and flows into it a little after Bhimgarh, actually near Palashdanga village, Birbhum district. Santhal Parganas
Santhal Pargana division constitutes one of the five district administration units known as the divisions of Jharkhand state in eastern India. Origin of name Santhal Pargana derives its name from two words: "Santhal", a major tribe of India and Pargana, a unit of administration in Persian language used mostly by medieval rulers. Bhimgarh
Bhimgara is a village in Khoyrasol CD Block in Suri Sadar subdivision of Birbhum district in the Indian state of West Bengal. Geography Bhimgarh is located at on the north bank of Ajay River. History There are remains of an old fort with low earthen ramparts beaten by the weather to low gentle mounds. The place is attributed to the five Pandavas, who are said to have stayed here for some time during their exile. Kopai River
The Kopai River (also called Sal River) is a tributary of the Bakreshwar River. It flows past such towns as Santiniketan, Bolpur, Kankalitala, Kirnahar and Labhpur in Birbhum district in the Indian state of West Bengal.
