Hillary Schieve
Hillary Louise Schieve (born October 12, 1970) is an American businesswoman and politician from the U.S. state of Nevada. She has been the mayor of Reno, Nevada since 2014 and is not affiliated with a political party. Career Schieve was on the Reno City Council from 2012 to 2014. Schieve was one of 20 candidates on the primary ballot in 2014. She ultimately ran for mayor in 2014 and beat her opponent, Raymond "Pez" Pezonella, a Democrat, 60.90% to 39.10% in the Washoe County election. She was elected to the position of City of Reno Mayor on November 4, 2014, and sworn in eight days later. Although the mayor's office is a non-partisan position, she received support from the Democratic Party prior to winning the mayoral election. On August 25, 2016, Schieve endorsed Hillary Clinton for president in 2016 in the general election after Schieve declined to endorse candidates in the primary. KOLO-TV (channel 8) is a television station in Reno, Nevada, United States, affiliated with ABC and The CW Plus. It is owned by Gray Television alongside Incline Village–licensed low-power Telemundo affiliate KXNV-LD (channel 26). The two stations share studios on Ampere Drive in Reno; KOLO-TV's transmitter is located on Slide Mountain between SR 431 and I-580/US 395/ALT in unincorporated Washoe County. Sparks is a city in Washoe County, Nevada, United States. It was founded in 1904, incorporated on March 15, 1905, and is located just east of Reno. Richard L. "Tick" Segerblom (born August 4, 1948) is an American attorney and politician serving as a member of the Clark County Commission from District E. First elected to the Nevada Assembly to represent Assembly District 9 in 2006, he was elected to the Nevada Senate in 2012 to represent Senate District 3.
