Hilda Fredriksen
Hilda Fredriksen (December 10, 1873 – June 30, 1945) was a Norwegian stage and film actress. Family Hilda Fredriksen was born in Kristiania (now Oslo), Norway, as the daughter of the police officer Carl Fredriksen (1847–1902) and Maren Gustava Gulliksen (1848–1924). She was the sister of the actress Ragnhild Fredriksen (1882–1963), who married the actor Ingolf Schanche. Hilda Fredriksen was unmarried. Life and work Hilda Fredriksen was performing in an itinerant Danish theater when she made her stage debut in Arendal in 1891. Between 1897 and 1899, she participated in productions at the Christiania Theater, including as Ane in Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson's '' Geografi og Kærlighed'' in 1898. Oslo ( , , or ; sma, Oslove) is the capital and most populous city of Norway. It constitutes both a county and a municipality. It was the first feature-length Norwegian sound film. It was based on the 1925 play of the same name written by Oskar Braaten (1881–1939). Chat Noir ( French for 'black cat') is a cabaret and revue theatre in Oslo, Norway. It was established in 1912 by Bokken Lasson. The current director is Tom Sterri. Establishment Chat Noir was established as a cabaret in 1912 by singer Bokken Lasson and her later husband, writer Vilhelm Dybwad, modelled after the Paris cabaret Le Chat Noir from the 19th century. During a visit to Paris in the early 1890s Bokken Lasson had found the inspiration of her life. She experienced the literary cabarets of the time, and performers such as Yvette Guilbert. The next years she toured European cities, wearing a self-composed costume, singing gypsy songs and playing lute, performing on the street, at restaurants, cabarets and occasionally in musical comedies. His 1890 masterpiece ''Cavalleria rusticana'' caused one of the greatest sensations in opera history and single-handedly ushered in the ''Verismo'' movement in Italian dramatic music. Peter Egge (1 April 1869 – 15 July 1959) was a renowned Norwegian author, journalist and playwright. His writing career extended from 1891 until 1955. Early life Peter Egge was born in Trondheim, Norway. He was the second eldest in a family of nine children born to a couple from Nord-Trøndelag. Summer holidays were often spent with relatives in the rural countryside. His writings would later commonly focus on Trondheim, and feature the rural customs of the traditional district of Innherred where he spent his childhood and adolescence.
