Higher Futures
{{Use dmy dates, date=April 2022 Higher Futures, established in 2006, is the Lifelong Learning Network (LLN) for South Yorkshire, North Derbyshire and North Nottinghamshire. It is one of many LLNs operating in each region across the country. Higher Futures aims to help vocational and work-based learners in five priority sectors - early years education, engineering, health and social care, public wellbeing, and sustainable communities - to progress from further education to higher education. Lifelong Learning Networks
Lifelong Learning Networks (LLNs) were a joint initiative in the UK between the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE), the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) and the former Department for Education and Skills (DfES). They were created as a result oHEFCE/LSC Circular Letter 12/2004 In June 2004, they invited Further Education Colleges (FECs) and Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to forge partnerships, bringing together different types of learning provider in a single network. Sheffield Hallam University

Barnsley College
Barnsley College is a further education college just outside the town centre of Barnsley, England. It has several campuses, including the SciTech Digital Innovation Centre and The Electric Theatre. The college provides A Levels, apprenticeships and vocational courses for students. Upon its last Ofsted inspection, the college was awarded the grade of ''Outstanding'', the highest grade available; further to this award the college was also deemed ''The best college in the UK'' by Ofsted officials. Chesterfield College
Chesterfield College is a further and higher education college in the town of Chesterfield in North East Derbyshire, England. The college consists of a number of campuses including Infirmary Road and Lockoford Lane spread over the town of Chesterfield. Doncaster College and University Centre is a further and higher education college based in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, England. It is an operating division of the DN Colleges Group. History Origins The origin and identity of Doncaster College can be traced back to the early history of technical education in the area. From about 1870, further education was delivered at a variety of small locations within the town. It all started through two evening classes in Great Northern Science and Art, taught by Mr L H Branston, who was a school master by day and artist by night. Longley Park Sixth Form
Longley Park Sixth Form is a 16-18 academy and was previously a further education sixth form in the Longley area of Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England. It is not to be confused with the multi-campus Sheffield College. Longley Park Sixth Form was established in 2004 with circa 1,200 students enrolled. It is part of the Brigantia Learning Trust, an academies partnership with feeder school Hinde House 3-16 School. Northern College is an adult residential college based at Wentworth Castle in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, England. History Founded in 1978, the college is for the education and training of men and women who are without formal qualifications and are seeking to return to learning. Rotherham College Of Arts And Technology
Rotherham College (formerly Rotherham College of Arts and Technology shortened to RCAT) is a further education college in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, England. It was established as Rotherham School of Science and Art in the 19th century. From the 1930s, it provided technical-orientated education from the Howard building on Eastwood Lane, Rotherham. Sheffield College
The Sheffield College is a large general further education college in Sheffield, England. The college has six campuses across the city and has 13,500 students enrolled (including 2,501 apprentices) as of 2021. It provides academic, technical and vocational training for school leavers and adults from across the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority region. History The college is the sole provider of post-16 education in the north of Sheffield, following the abolition of traditional sixth-forms in 1988 by the tertiary system.
