Here We Go Again (film)
''Here We Go Again'' is a 1942 American film, a sequel to ''Look Who's Laughing''. With RKO in financial trouble, with the success of the earlier zany comedy starring a bevy of radio stars, ''Here We Go Again'' put Fibber McGee and Molly in a search for where to celebrate the couple's 20th anniversary. They want to throw a big party but when everyone declines their invitation, they decide to go on a second honeymoon instead. Right on cue, Fibber McGee and Molly's second honeymoon goes awry. Ultimately, the pair bumps into their old friends Edgar Bergen, Charlie McCarthy and the Great Gildersleeve (Harold Peary), along with others. With the anniversary party on again, the only problem is, how will Fibber McGee (Jim Jordan) pay for all of this? Bill Thompson (voice Actor)
William H. Thompson (July 8, 1913 – July 15, 1971) was an American radio personality and voice actor, whose career stretched from the 1930s until his death. He was a featured comedian playing multiple roles on the ''Fibber McGee and Molly'' radio series, and was the voice of Droopy in most of the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer cartoon studio theatrical cartoons from 1943 to 1958. Early career Thompson was born to vaudevillian parents and was of Scottish ancestry. He began his career in Chicago radio, where his early appearances included appearances as a regular on Don McNeill's morning variety series ''The Breakfast Club'' in 1934 and a stint as a choir member on the musical variety series ''The Sinclair Weiner Minstrels'' around 1937. RKO Radio Pictures Inc., commonly known as RKO Pictures or simply RKO, was an American film production and distribution company, one of the "Big Five" film studios of Hollywood's Golden Age. The business was formed after the Keith-Albee-Orpheum (KAO) theater chain and Joseph P. Kennedy's Film Booking Offices of America (FBO) studio were brought together under the control of the Radio Corporation of America (RCA) in October 1928. Lois Patricia McCarty (February 11, 1921 - July 7, 1985) was an American actress. Biography Baker was born in Bakersfield, California, and grew up in Healdsburg. She graduated from Covina High School in Covina, California, and she attended Los Angeles City College. Prior to becoming a film actress, McCarty was a secretary for actress Dorothy Lamour. Lamour helped her to obtain a bit part in the film ''Chad Hanna'' (1940). In January 1941, McCarty began working for Columbia Pictures, but in August of that year, the studio declined to take up the option on her contract. From 1941 through 1946 she was a Hollywood B movie actress and performed bit parts in 23 films. She died on July 7, 1985, in Honolulu, Hawaii, at the age of 64. Jerry Maren (born Gerard Marenghi; January 24, 1920 – May 24, 2018) was an American actor who played a Munchkin member of the Lollipop Guild in the 1939 Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer film '' The Wizard of Oz.'' He became the last surviving adult Munchkin following the death of Ruth Duccini in 2014, and was also the last surviving cast member with a specifically identifiable speaking or singing role. Early life Gerard Marenghi, eventually known as Jerry Maren, was born in Lynn, Massachusetts, the youngest of eleven or twelve children. His father, Emil Marenghi, worked at a shoe factory.
