Heping Road
Heping Road (; also known as 1st Avenue) is a major east–west arterial in Taipei, Taiwan. The road is bisected into the East and West segments by Roosevelt Road, with three block sections in each segment. A fourth section in Heping East Road is currently under planning. Heping Road connects Wanhua District to Zhongzheng District in its East and Daan District to Xinyi District in its Eastern segment. Daan Forest Park
Daan Forest Park () is a public park near the centre of the Daan District, Taipei, Da'an District of Taipei, Taiwan. The park occupies twenty-six hectares and is bordered on its north, south, east, and west by Xinyi Road (信義路), Heping E. Road (和平東路), Jianguo Road (Taipei), Jianguo S. Road (建國南路), and Xinsheng S. Road (幸生南路), respectively. The park is used by residents of Taipei as a green activity space and for various outdoor activities. The park was created in 1994 after the eviction of longtime squatters and the demolition of illegal buildings on municipal land, not by mayor Chen Shui-bian, as is often cited, but by his predecessor, Huang Ta-chou. Xinsheng Road
The Xinsheng Road (; also called 8th Avenue or Hsinsheng Road) is a major arterial in Taipei, Taiwan, connecting the Daan District in the south with the Zhongshan and the Shilin districts in the north. The roads were built along both sides of the Horikawa River in Japanese rule period, which was called Horikawa-dōri (Horikawa Avenue). Xinsheng Road is mainly a surface arterial, with the exception of the section between Zhongxiao Road and Zhongshan Road, where there is a four-lane expressway running above the surface arterial, which eventually carries the road over the Keelung River north of Minzu Road and onto Zhongshan Road on the other side. Xinsheng literally means "New Life" and the road is named after the New Life Movement which was established by Chiang Kai-shek and Soong Mei-ling. Quanzhou, alternatively known as Chinchew, is a prefecture-level port city on the north bank of the Jin River, beside the Taiwan Strait in southern Fujian, China.
