Henry Joseph Gill
Henry Joseph Gill (1836 – 1903) was an Irish publisher, translator, and politician. He was educated at Castleknock College, Dublin and was a graduate of Trinity College Dublin, Henry Joseph Gill was the managing editor of Gill & Macmillan, M. H. Gill and Sons, publishers. He translated works including ''The Cid Campeador'' by Antonio de Trueba. He was Irish Parliamentary Party MP for Westmeath (UK Parliament constituency), Westmeath from 1880 to 1883 and for Limerick City (UK Parliament constituency), Limerick City from 1885 to 1888. His son Henry Gill (jesuit), Henry Gill S.J., M.C., D.S.O., Jesuit priest, scientist, and served as a chaplain in the great war, where he earned Military Cross, Distinguished Service Order, serving with the 2nd Royal Irish Rifles.The words of Father Henry Gill

Castleknock College
Castleknock College ( ga, Coláiste Caisleán Cnucha) is a voluntary Vincentian secondary school for boys, situated in the residential suburb of Castleknock, west of Dublin city centre, Ireland. Founded in 1835 by Philip Dowley, it is one of the oldest boys schools in Ireland. Although priority is given to those of the main Catholic tradition, as a Christian school, it is attended by students of other denominations and faiths. The school's colours are navy and sky blue.
