Helsingør Dagblad
''Helsingør Dagblad'' is a Danish language local newspaper based in Helsingør, Denmark. Founded in 1867 it is one of the oldest newspapers in the country. History and profile ''Helsingør Dagblad'' was established by Henrik Donatzky, a publisher, in 1867. The paper is part of North Media and is published by Søndagsavisen A/S which is also the publisher of ''Søndagsavisen''. It was formerly published by the Helsingør Dagblad A/S Group. Søndagsavisen A/S had a stake in the company until 2009 when it purchased the company from Dansk AvisTryk A/S. The paper is published in North Zealand. In March 2017 Dorthe Carlsen was appointed director of the paper, replacing Svein Gilbu in the post. Danish Language
Danish (; , ) is a North Germanic language spoken by about six million people, principally in and around Denmark. Helsingør
Helsingør ( , ; sv, Helsingör), classically known in English as Elsinore ( ), is a city in eastern Denmark. Helsingør Municipality had a population of 62,686 on 1 January 2018. Helsingør and Helsingborg in Sweden together form the northern reaches of the Øresund Region, centered on Copenhagen and Malmö. The HH Ferry route connects Helsingør with Helsingborg, 4 km (2.5 miles) across the Øresund. ''Søndagsavisen'' is a free Danish countrywide weekend newspaper. It has a circulation of 1.2 million and approximately 1.3 million readers each weekend. That makes it the most widely read newspaper in Denmark. Its primary focus is weighted towards people between 25 and 50 years old, primarily families with children. North Zealand
North Zealand, also North Sealand ( da, Nordsjælland), refers to the northern part of the Danish island of Zealand which is not clearly defined but generally covers the area north of Copenhagen. The Danish tourist authorities have recently introduced the term Danish Riviera to cover the area in view of its increasing importance for tourism. The area has three royal castles and offers resorts with beaches, as well as lakes and forests. In addition to Kronborg Castle, three of the North Zealand forest areas used for royal par force hunting are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
