''Hellboy'' is a 2004 American superhero film written and directed by Guillermo del Toro from a story by Del Toro and Peter Briggs. Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin is a fictional supervillain in the comic book series ''Hellboy''. The character was created by Mike Mignola and John Byrne, and was based on the real life Russian mystic of the same name. Rasputin serves as the second archenemy of Hellboy after the Ogdru Jahad.
