''HellBent'' is a 2005 novel by Anthony McGowan. It tells the story of Connor O'Neil and his dog, who are killed by an ice cream van and sent to hell. It was received very well, despite being called "Down-right disgusting just for the sake of it". Plot summary Sixteen-year-old Connor is on his way home from school when he is run down by an ice-cream truck. He is sent to hell with his dog, Scrote, who choked on an ice cream cone which rolled off the truck. There he is sentenced to spending all eternity reading intellectual books and listening to classical music with his personal devil tormentor, Clarence, and a transvestite Viking, Olaf. Eventually he meets a beautiful naked angel called Francessa who tells him that one person's hell could be his heaven. ''Hell Bent'' is a 1918 American Western film directed by John Ford and featuring Harry Carey. A print of the film exists in the Czechoslovak Film Archive. Plot As described in a film magazine, Bess Thurston (Gerber), whose no-account brother Jack (Pegg) is unable to support her, obtains employment in a dance hall. This shatters the illusions of Cheyenne Harry (Carey), who has fallen in love with her. When he rescues her from the advances of Beau Ross (Harris), Cheyenne's confidence in her is restored. Her brother then aids Beau in an attempted robbery and Harry allows them to escape. Beau takes Bess with him into the desert. Harry follows and a duel ensues in which they are both wounded. "Hell Bent" is the twelfth and final episode of the ninth series of the British science fiction television series ''Doctor Who''. It was first broadcast on BBC One on 5 December 2015. H3llb3nt were an electro-industrial supergroup formed in 1995. The original line-up band consisted of Bryan Barton (of haloblack), Charles Levi (of Pigface), Jared Louche (of Chemlab), Jordan Nogood and Eric Powell (of 16Volt). They released three full length albums: '' 0.01'' (1996), ''Helium'' (1998), ''Hardcore Vanilla'' (2001) History H3llb3nt was formed in San Francisco by Bryan Barton, Charles Levi, Jared Louche, Jordan Nogood and Eric Powell. The idea came about when Powell and Barton were touring with their bands, 16Volt and haloblack respectively, and decided on collaborating on an electronic music project that and had less emphasis on guitars.
