Andre L. Adams (born March 11, 1970), better known by his stage name Andre Nickatina, is an American rapper from San Francisco, California. He previously performed under the stage name Dre Dog. Personal life Andre Adams was born on March 11, 1970, in San Francisco, and grew up in the city's Fillmore District. He attended the Galileo Academy of Science and Technology but dropped out and claims to have had a D average. Despite his troubled academic career, Andre maintained an honorable position within the school securing a rank of “Cobra Status” signifying his quick wit. Quincy Brooks IV (born October 24, 1977), better known by his stage name San Quinn, is an American rapper from San Francisco, California. He is the cousin of Messy Marv, Stevie Johnson, and Ya Boy. Early life Brooks was born in Oakland, California, United States, and grew up in the Fillmore District of San Francisco since the age of three. He attended George Washington High School. Career Brooks made his first rap appearance as an opening act for 2Pac and Digital Underground at the age of 12. He recorded his first album at 15 years old. Reggie Gibson (born August 23, 1970), better known as Saafir, is an emcee, producer and actor from Oakland, California. He is also a member of the rap group "Golden State Project" (formerly known as Golden State Warriors) with Ras Kass and Xzibit. Born in Oakland, California, he lived with Tupac Shakur and became a dancer for Digital Underground. Saafir took part in one of the most notorious Bay Area rap battles, when he and members of the Hobo Junction went against Casual and members of the Hieroglyphics Crew. The battle took place live on KMEL. Saafir made his recording debut on several cuts on Digital Underground's ''The Body-Hat Syndrome'' in 1993, followed by an appearance on Casual's '' Fear Itself'' in early 1994. Biography As frontman of rap group Ill Mannered Posse (I.M.P), and later as solo artist, Fields was known for his dark raspy voice and street credibility. His best known release as a member of I.M.P. is probably the 1996 album ''Ill Mannered Playas'', which was released through In-A-Minute Records. Often requested for compilations and features, Fields was one of the most prominent rappers in the Bay Area in his prime (from 1993 until his death in 2001). Notable artists Fields worked with JT The Bigga Figga, Master P, Andre Nickatina, Da'unda'dogg, Sean T, and RBL Posse.
