Ronald Fields (January 11, 1968 – September 4, 2001), better known by his stage name Cougnut, was an American rapper from the Lakeview neighborhood of San Francisco, California. Biography As frontman of rap group Ill Mannered Posse (I.M.P), and later as solo artist, Fields was known for his dark raspy voice and street credibility. His best known release as a member of I.M.P. is probably the 1996 album ''Ill Mannered Playas'', which was released through In-A-Minute Records. Often requested for compilations and features, Fields was one of the most prominent rappers in the Bay Area in his prime (from 1993 until his death in 2001). Notable artists Fields worked with JT The Bigga Figga, Master P, Andre Nickatina, Da'unda'dogg, Sean T, and RBL Posse. ''Dwellin' in tha Labb'' is the third solo full-length album by American rapper and producer JT the Bigga Figga from San Francisco. It was released on October 10, 1995 through Get Low Recordz and Straight Out Tha Labb Entertainment with distribution by Priority Records. The album features guest appearances from 11/5, Andre "Herm" Lewis, Black C, Celly Cel, Cougnut, E-40, Get Low Playaz, Mac Mall, Master P, Pizzo, San Quinn, Seff tha Gaffla, The Delinquents, The Link Crew and Trev-G. Oceanview is a neighborhood in the southern portion of San Francisco, California. It was first established as a community in the 1910s and originally centered on the intersection of Sagamore Street and San Jose Avenue. Joseph Tom, better known by his stage name JT the Bigga Figga (also known as Figg Panamera), is an American rapper, record producer, and record executive from the Fillmore neighborhood of San Francisco, California. He has produced music on over one hundred albums, for artists including Daz Dillinger, Master P, The Game, San Quinn, and Messy Marv. Music career In 1991, JT founded the independent record label Get Low Recordz. What started as a basement enterprise and a one-man operation, would later become one of the most successful independent labels in the country. Sean Miguel Thompson, better known by his stage name Sean T, is an American rapper and record producer from East Palo Alto, California. Throughout his career both as a rapper and a producer, he has released seven solo albums, two albums with his group Murder One Gangstas and has worked with some of California's top rappers, including E-40, C-Bo, and 3X Krazy. Horrorcore Artists
Horrorcore, also called horror hip hop, horror rap, death hip hop, or death rap, is a subgenre of hip hop music based on horror-themed and often darkly transgressive lyrical content and imagery. Kung Fu Vampire is a Latin American rapper from San Jose, California. Since 2001, he has been recognized as a "goth rapper", and for being accompanied by a band in his live hip hop performances. He released his debut album, ''Blood Bath Beyond'' in 2003. History Kung Fu Vampire began breakdancing at the age of six, and taught himself how to rap and sing while playing drums and bass as a hobby.
