Heiko Schaffartzik
Heiko Schaffartzik (born 3 January 1984) is a German professional basketball player for Hamburg Towers of the German Basketball Bundesliga. Schaffartzik is also a member of the Germany national basketball team. Professional career In 2011 Schaffartzik signed a contract with Alba Berlin. In the 2012–13 season, he played his first season in the Euroleague, he averaged 6.2 points per game in the competition. On August 1, 2013, Schaffartzik signed a two-year contract with Bayern Munich. In the 2013–14, he won the Basketball Bundesliga with Bayern, after his team beat Alba 3–1 in the Finals. On September 28, 2015, Limoges CSP announced it had signed Schaffartzik. In June 2016, Schaffartzik signed a one-year contract with Nanterre 92. On April 22, 2017, Schaffartzik won the French Cup after beating Le Mans Sarthe Basket 79–96 in the Final. The Germany men's national basketball team (german: Deutsche Basketballnationalmannschaft or ''Die Mannschaft'') represents Germany in international basketball competition. FIBA Europe Cup
The FIBA Europe Cup (FEC) is an annual professional club basketball competition organised by FIBA for eligible European clubs. It is FIBA's European-wide second level. Clubs mainly qualify for the competition based on their performance in national leagues and cup competitions, although this is not the sole deciding factor. The league was founded in 2015 as a replacement of the FIBA EuroChallenge. History On June 30, 2015, FIBA announced it would start a new league to compete with Euroleague Basketball's EuroCup. Basket Zaragoza 2002 S.A.D., more commonly referred to as Basket Zaragoza and as Casademont Zaragoza for sponsorship reasons, is a professional basketball club based in Zaragoza, Spain. Basketball Bundesliga-Pokal, commonly known as the BBL-Pokal, is the annual national basketball cup competition in Germany. Since 2009, the title has been awarded to the winner of a tournament competition between top clubs of each Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) season. The French Basketball Cup, or French Basketball Federation Cup, (french: Coupe de France de Basket) is the annual national basketball federation cup competition of France.
