Heather Olver
Heather Olver (born 15 March 1986) is an English badminton player. Her career highlights so far include mixed team and mixed doubles silver at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, European women’s doubles bronze, and reaching the final of the 2013 London Grand Prix Gold and Scottish Open. She also competed at the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics. Early career She started playing at the age of six and started when she joined her local club, Waldron Junior BC, with her brother. Career In 2005, Olver won the women's doubles at both the England Junior Championships and the Welsh International. In 2009, she was successful four times internationally, and in the following year she won the bronze medal at the European Championships in women's doubles. Gabby Adcock
Gabrielle Marie Adcock (née White; born 30 September 1990) is an English retired badminton player. Career Gabby started playing badminton aged 10 in the badminton club at her school and became a full-time player straight from school at 16. She competes in badminton as a doubles specialist. In 2007, she won a bronze medal at the European Junior Badminton Championships in girls' doubles event partnered with Mariana Agathangelou. At the 2007 BWF World Junior Championships, she won a silver medal in mixed doubles event partnered with Chris Adcock. They were defeated by Lim Khim Wah and Ng Hui Lin of Malaysia in the finals round with the score 25–23, 20–22, and 19–21. Chris Adcock
Christopher Thomas Adcock (born 27 April 1989) is a retired English badminton player. Adcock is currently sponsored by Yonex and YC Sports and plays for the University of Nottingham-based NBL team. He entered the National team in 2006, and later won the boys' doubles and mixed team titles at the 2007 European Junior Championships. He was a World Championships medalists winning a silver in 2011 with Imogen Bankier and a bronze in 2017 with Gabby Adcock. Together with Gabby, he also won a silver medal at the 2007 World Junior Championships, and then claimed the gold medals at the Commonwealth Games in 2014 and 2018; and at the European Championships in 2017 and 2018. Chris Langridge
Christopher Phillip Langridge (born 2 May 1985) is a retired British badminton player. He competed for England at the 2014 Commonwealth Games where he won three medals. He represented Great Britain at the 2016 Summer Olympics, and won a bronze medal in the men's doubles, partnered with Marcus Ellis. They also won gold medals at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and 2019 European Games. Early life and education Chris Langridge was born on 2 May 1985 in Epsom, Surrey. Langridge was educated at Therfield School, a state comprehensive school in the town of Leatherhead in Surrey in southern England. The school were twice National Schools champions. The Commonwealth Arena and Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome, known for sponsorship reasons as the Emirates Arena, is an indoor arena and velodrome in Dalmarnock, Glasgow, Scotland. Heathfield Community College is a secondary school near the market town of Heathfield, East Sussex, England. School Enrollment The college draws its students from a large geographical area.
