Manuel Gutiérrez Aragón (Torrelavega, Cantabria 2 January 1940) is a Spanish screenwriter and film director. His 1973 film ''Habla, mudita'' was entered into the 23rd Berlin International Film Festival. Norman Briski (born January 2, 1938) is an Argentine theatre actor, director and playwright, as well as a cinema and television actor. Life and work Naum Normando Briski was born in Santa Fe, Argentina, in 1938. His Jewish Argentine family relocated to Córdoba, where Briski developed an interest in acting and where, in 1955, he was given his first stage role in ''La Farsa del señor Corregidor.'' He continued his work in the theatre and in time earned leading parts in plays such as ''Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead'' and '' The Mother''. He was given his first cinema role, a part in Ricardo Alventosa's comedy, ''Cómo seducir a una mujer'' (''How to Seduce a Woman''), in 1967. The 29th Berlin International Film Festival was held from 20 February – 3 March 1979. The Golden Bear was awarded to the West German film ''David'' directed by Peter Lilienthal. Michael Cimino's ''The Deer Hunter'' was surrounded by controversy, as it was accused of racism, and several countries decided to withdraw their films from the festival in protest.
