Headlander Festival
Headlander Festival was a small UK family friendly festival held on the ground of Stockport RUFC in Bramhall, with the first two-day event being held from 21 June to 22 June 2013. The two-day event attracted around 6,000 music fans each year. The Festival was designed to be accessible to families with children of all ages and featured three stages for live music, a trade village, foods from around the world and music workshops. 2013 Acts who appeared at the first Headlander Festival included; A Few Good Men, The Rainband, The Beavers, Kill For Company, The Ordinary, Reachback and Manchester Ska Foundation. 2014 Toploader Toploader are an English rock band from Eastbourne, East Sussex, formed in 1997, with over two million album sales and several top 20 hits both home and abroad. Bramhall
Bramhall is a suburban area in the Metropolitan Borough of Stockport, Greater Manchester, England. Historically in Cheshire, it had a population of 17,436 at the 2011 Census.Bramhall South and Bramhall North Wards History The Anglo-Saxon manor of Bramall was held as separate estates by two Saxon freemen, Brun and Hacun. My Darling Clementine is an English country music duo who formed in 2010 in Birmingham, England. History The band was formed by Birmingham-based couple Michael Weston King and Lou Dalgleish, musicians in their own rights for many years and who began to perform together as My Darling Clementine in 2010, after 10 years of marriage. Prior to My Darling Clementine, Lou Dalgleish worked with Bryan Ferry, Steven Spielberg and The Brodsky Quartet. From 1993 to 2000 she released 4 albums (including the acclaimed Live at Ronnie Scotts). Dave Sharp
Dave Sharp (born 28 January 1959) is an English guitarist who co-founded, along with Mike Peters, the Welsh punk/new wave band The Alarm. Early career Sharp was born in Kersal, Salford, Lancashire, and began playing with the band Seventeen in the 1970s; he made his recording debut on their "Don't Let Go" / "Bank Holiday Weekend" single. After Seventeen disbanded in 1980, the band reformed as The Alarm, eventually recording hit records such as "68 Guns" and "The Spirit of '76". Clive James Gregson (born 4 January 1955, Ashton-under-Lyne, Tameside, England) is an English singer/songwriter, musician and record producer. Benjamin Darvill (born January 4, 1967), known by his stage name Son of Dave, is a Canadian musician and singer–songwriter, based in the United Kingdom. He was a member of Grammy award-nominated, Juno award-winning folk rock band Crash Test Dummies in which he played harmonica, mandolin, guitar and percussion before returning to his blues, Beat-Box and harmonica driven solo work in 2000. Phillip Henry and Hannah Martin are an English folk music duo. In 2017, they renamed themselves Edgelarks and released an eponymous album. Career In 2008, Henry travelled to Calcutta to study under the slide guitarist Pandit Debashish Bhattacharya. When Henry returned, he joined the band The Roots Union, with Martin, which spent three years on the road. The band came to an end in 2010, and Henry and Martin continued working together. They were "discovered" by Show of Hands frontman Steve Knightley who first encountered the duo busking on the seafront during Devon's Sidmouth Folk Week. Stooshe () are a British girl group from London, consisting of three members Alexandra Buggs, Karis Anderson and Courtney Rumbold. Initially signed to Warner Music they released of their first single " Love Me", featuring US rapper Travie McCoy, in 2012. Later that year Stooshe were nominated for the BBC's Sound of 2012 poll.
