Hayley Anne Sacks ( he, היילי אן סאקס , born January 23, 1991) is an American former pair skater who competed internationally for Israel. Career Sacks originally competed in the United States as a single skater. In 2007, she teamed up with Vadim Akolzin to compete in pairs for Israel. They are the 2008 Israeli silver medalists and placed 17th at the 2008 World Figure Skating Championships The 2008 World Figure Skating Championships was a senior international figure skating competition in the 2007–08 figure skating season. Itzhak Perlman
Itzhak Perlman ( he, יצחק פרלמן; born August 31, 1945) is an Israeli-American violinist widely considered one of the greatest violinists in the world. Perlman has performed worldwide and throughout the United States, in venues that have included a State Dinner at the White House honoring Queen Elizabeth II, and at President Barack Obama's inauguration. He has conducted the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, the Philadelphia Orchestra, and the Westchester Philharmonic. In 2015, he was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom. The Eastern Sectional Figure Skating Championships is an annual figure skating competition sanctioned by U.S. Figure Skating which has been held since 1938. Skaters compete in five levels: Senior, Junior, Novice, Intermediate, and Juvenile. Medals are awarded in four disciplines: Ladies singles, Men's singles, Pairs, and Ice dance. Nebelhorn Trophy
The Nebelhorn Trophy is an international senior-level figure skating competition organized by the Deutsche Eislauf-Union and held annually in Oberstdorf, Germany. It became part of the ISU Challenger Series in the 2014–15 season. The competition is named after the Nebelhorn, a nearby mountain. It is usually one of the first international senior competitions of the season. Skaters are entered by their respective national federations and compete in four disciplines: men's singles, ladies' singles, pairs, and ice dancing. The short program of figure skating is the first of two segments of competitions, skated before the free skating program. It lasts, for both senior and junior singles and pair skaters, 2 minutes and 40 seconds. In synchronized skating, for both juniors and seniors, the short program lasts 2 minutes and 50 seconds. Vocal music with lyrics is allowed for all disciplines since the 2014-2015 season. The short program for single skaters and for pair skaters consists of seven required elements, and there are six required elements for synchronized skaters. The Israeli Figure Skating Championships is a figure skating competition held annually to crown the national champions of Israel. Winners are given the title of National Champion. Over the years, the date of the competition has been moved for regional political reasons or for the lack of ice. Nationals are mostly held in the Canada Centre in Metulla. The levels of the nationals are senior, junior, novice, and age groups. The disciplines of competition are men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing.
