Hayden Rashidi Walsh (born 23 April 1992) is an Antiguan- American cricketer who has represented both the United States and the West Indies cricket teams in international cricket. He was born in the United States Virgin Islands to an Antiguan father, Hayden Walsh Sr. He is a left-handed batsman and right-arm leg-spin bowler. Background Walsh was born on Saint Croix, in the U.S. Virgin Islands, and is therefore an American citizen. His Antiguan father, Hayden Walsh Sr., and uncle, Vaughn Walsh, both played first-class matches for the Leeward Islands. Leg-spin
Leg spin is a type of spin bowling in cricket. A leg spinner bowls right-arm with a wrist spin action. The leg spinner's normal delivery causes the ball to spin from right to left (from the bowler's perspective) when the ball bounces on the pitch. For a right-handed batsman, that is away from the leg side, and this is where it gets the name leg break. Leg spinners bowl mostly leg breaks, varying them by adjusting the line and length, and amount of side spin versus topspin of the deliveries. Leg spinners also typically use variations of flight by sometimes looping the ball in the air, allowing any cross-breeze and the aerodynamic effects of the spinning ball to cause the ball to dip and drift before bouncing and spinning or "turning", sharply. The United States cricket team toured the United Arab Emirates in March 2019 to play two Twenty20 International (T20I) matches ahead of the 2019 ICC World Cricket League Division Two tournament. They were the first T20I fixtures to be played by the United States, and their first full international matches since the 2004 ICC Champions Trophy. 2018 ICC World Cricket League Division Three
The 2018 ICC World Cricket League Division Three was an international cricket tournament that took place in Oman between 9 and 19 November 2018. It formed part of the 2017–19 cycle of the World Cricket League (WCL) which determines the qualification for the 2023 Cricket World Cup. The top two teams were promoted to the 2019 ICC World Cricket League Division Two tournament, and the other four teams will play in the 2019–21 ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League. It was the first international cricket tournament to be held in Oman. Tournament hosts Oman were the first team to be promoted to Division Two for 2019, after winning their opening four matches. 2018 Caribbean Premier League
The 2018 Caribbean Premier League (CPLT20) or for sponsorship reasons, Hero CPL 2018 was the sixth season of the Caribbean Premier League, the domestic Twenty20 cricket league in the West Indies. Matches were played in seven countries – Trinidad and Tobago, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Guyana, Barbados, Jamaica, Saint Lucia, with three of the matches were played at Lauderhill, Florida, United States. The tournament started on 8 August 2018. In July 2018, two changes to the playing conditions were announced for the tournament. The first was a penalty to a team's net run rate for failing to bowl their overs in the given time. The second change was the introduction of a coin toss, to determine who will bat first if a Super Over is needed to decide the result of the match. The St Kitts & Nevis Patriots are a Caribbean Premier League (CPL) cricket franchise based in Saint Kitts and Nevis, and participated in the competition for the first time in 2015. The team will play its home games at Warner Park, Basseterre, located on Saint Kitts, and, like the league's other franchises, draw the majority of its players from West Indian domestic teams. Twenty20 (T20) is a shortened game format of cricket. At the professional level, it was introduced by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) in 2003 for the inter-county competition. In a Twenty20 game, the two teams have a single innings each, which is restricted to a maximum of 20 overs. Rayad Ryan Emrit (born 8 March 1981) is a West Indian cricketer. Emrit has represented the West Indies Senior team, making his first ODI appearance just a year after his regional debut in 2007. Emrit maintained discipline and motivation and defied the odds to be next selected for the West Indies T20 Champion team in 2018 against New Zealand. Jason Nazimuddin Mohammed (born 23 September 1986) is a Trinidadian cricketer. He plays first-class and List A cricket for Trinidad and Tobago.and internationally played for West Indies cricket team in limited overs cricket.
