2018 ICC World Cricket League Division Three
The 2018 ICC World Cricket League Division Three was an international cricket tournament that took place in Oman between 9 and 19 November 2018. It formed part of the 2017–19 cycle of the World Cricket League (WCL) which determines the qualification for the 2023 Cricket World Cup. The top two teams were promoted to the 2019 ICC World Cricket League Division Two tournament, and the other four teams will play in the 2019–21 ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League. It was the first international cricket tournament to be held in Oman. Tournament hosts Oman were the first team to be promoted to Division Two for 2019, after winning their opening four matches. The International Cricket Council (ICC) is the world governing body of cricket. Headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, its members are 108 national associations, with 12 Full Members and 96 Associate Members. 2018 ICC World Cricket League Division Two
2018 ICC World Cricket League Division Two was a cricket tournament that took place in February 2018 in Namibia. The United Arab Emirates won the tournament, after beating Nepal by 7 runs in the final. Canada and Namibia finished third and fourth respectively and remained in Division Two. Oman and Kenya finished fifth and sixth respectively and were both relegated to Division Three. Following Kenya's last-place finish in the tournament, their captain Rakep Patel and their coach Thomas Odoyo both resigned. Oman and Canada were the top two teams in the 2017 ICC World Cricket League Division Three tournament in Uganda and were promoted as a result. Duleep Mendis
Deshamanya Louis Rohan Duleep Mendis (born 25 August 1952), known as Duleep Mendis, is a former Sri Lankan cricketer and former captain of the team, who captained Sri Lanka to their first Test series victory in 1985. He was primarily a specialist batsman, whose best period as a player came from 1982 to 1985. He is currently the coach of the Oman national cricket team. David Obuya
David Oluoch Obuya (born 14 August 1979) is a former Kenyan cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and a wicket-keeper. Obuya first played cricket at the Under-19s World Cup of 1998, where he starred as the opening batsman. International career His one-day career was to follow three years later. Jeremy Bray (cricketer)
Jeremy Paul Bray (born 30 November 1973) is an Australian-Irish cricket coach and former player. He played as a left-handed top order batsman and part-time wicketkeeper. The 2018–19 Regional Super50 was the 45th edition of the Regional Super50, the domestic limited-overs cricket competition for the countries of the Cricket West Indies (CWI). The tournament started on 3 October 2018. The players' draft for the tournament took place in May 2018. The Windward Islands were the defending champions. 2018 Africa T20 Cup
The 2018 Africa T20 Cup was the fourth and final edition of the Africa T20 Cup, a Twenty20 cricket tournament. It was held in South Africa in September 2018, as a curtain-raiser to the 2018–19 South African domestic season. Provincial side KwaZulu-Natal Inland were the defending champions. Organised by Cricket South Africa, the tournament was played between twenty teams.
