Hayden (electronics Company)
Hayden is a British company which designs hand-wired electric guitar amplifiers. It is a sister company to Ashdown Engineering, which makes high-quality, hand-wired, vacuum-tube (or ''valve'' in Britain) amplifiers in England. At the end of 2007 it was announced that Dave Green, Matamp's chief engineer, would be joining Hayden full-time as 'Valve Amp Guru'. The new designed by Dave Green range has been launched and comprises the products as listed below, a range of valve pedals is expected early 2011. Henry Dartnall
Young Knives are an English indie rock band from Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire. The name is based on a misunderstanding of "young knaves", which was found by the band when rummaging through a book. The band was originally named Simple Pastoral Existence, but this name only lasted until they split for a few years from 1997 to 1999, at which time they renamed themselves Ponyclub. The name "Ponyclub" was changed when they got their first record deal because there was already an artist in existence named "Pony Club". This is when the name "The Young Knives" was coined. They later dropped the definite article prefix prior to the release of their second full-length album, '' Superabundance''. Velouria
"Velouria" is a song by the American alternative rock band Pixies, written and sung by the band's frontman Black Francis. "Velouria" was released as a single in July 1990 and was the band's first UK Top 40 hit. It was included as the third track on their album '' Bossanova'' released a month later. The song features extensive use of theremin. It featured on the influential 1990 Madchester compilation album '' Happy Daze''. Lyrics Black Francis said of the lyrics to the song in an interview with ''SongFacts'', "It's folklore based; the Rosicrucians of 1920s San Jose California had some pretty interesting ideas." Eagles Of Death Metal
Eagles of Death Metal is an American rock band from Palm Desert, California, formed in 1998. Founded by Jesse Hughes (vocals, guitar) and Josh Homme (drums), the band also includes a wide range of other musicians who perform both on the band's studio albums and at live shows. Hughes and Homme are the only permanent members of the band, with Homme rarely performing at live shows due to commitment to his other band, Queens of the Stone Age. David Catching (born June 7, 1961) is an American musician from Memphis, Tennessee. He is a founding member of the California stoner rock band earthlings?, a touring member of Eagles of Death Metal and the co-founder of the Rancho De La Luna recording studio. Jesse Everett Hughes (born September 24, 1972) is an American singer and musician. He is best known as the frontman of the rock band Eagles of Death Metal, with whom he has recorded four studio albums and a live album.
