Haunted (The Vampire Diaries)
"Haunted" is the seventh episode of the first season of The CW television series, ''The Vampire Diaries'' and the seventh episode of the series overall. It originally aired on October 29, 2009. The episode's story was written by Andrew Kreisberg and the teleplay by Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec. It was directed by Ernest Dickerson. Plot The episode starts with Vicki (Kayla Ewell) not being able to control her bloodlust and she attacks Tyler (Michael Trevino) at his car. Stefan (Paul Wesley) arrives just in time to stop her and Damon ( Ian Somerhalder) compels Tyler to forget everything that happened. Everyone in town searches for the vanished Vicki, including Jeremy ( Steven R. McQueen) who wants to skip school and join the search team. White Lies are an English post-punk revival band from Ealing, London. Formerly known as Fear of Flying, the core band members are Harry McVeigh (lead vocals, guitar), Charles Cave (bass guitar and backing vocals), and Jack Lawrence-Brown (drums). "To Lose My Life" is a single by London indie rock band White Lies. It was released on 12 January 2009, one week before the release of the band's debut album, '' To Lose My Life...''. "To Lose My Life" was featured in the soundtrack of the 2009 game, ''DiRT 2''. In May 2010, the show 90210 played this song in the end scene. The song was also featured in a promo for the hit TV series, The Vampire Diaries, as well as being featured in Episode 7 of Season 1. The Longcut
The Longcut are an English rock band, formed in 2002 in Manchester. Career The Longcut formed in Manchester in 2002, while attending the University of Manchester. Originally a four-piece, their vocalist left soon after the band started and the remaining members intended to make purely instrumental music. In 2003 their experiments with cheap drum machines led to a new sound and their unusual stage setup. The band's original sound and energetic live performances brought them to the attention of the record industry in 2004, eventually signing to Liverpool's Deltasonic label. During 2004 the band also became friends with Manchester promoters Akoustik Anarkhy and indie/grunge band, Nine Black Alps. The Dodos are an American indie rock band consisting of Meric Long and Logan Kroeber.
