The Louis Riel School Division (LRSD; , DSL-R) is a school division in Winnipeg, Manitoba, offering English-language and French-immersion education to its students. It was broadly formed in 1998 with the voluntary amalgamation of the Norwood and St. Boniface School Divisions. Following the 2001 announcement by the Minister of Education, Training and Youth to reduce Manitoba's school divisions from 54 to 37, the St. Vital School Division merged with St. Boniface in 2002, officially establishing the new Louis Riel School Division. Theresa Oswald is a politician in Manitoba, Canada. She was a New Democratic Party member of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba from 2003 to 2016 and a cabinet minister from 2004 until she stepped down in 2014 to unsuccessfully challenge Premier Greg Selinger for the party's leadership. Dylan McIlrath (born April 20, 1992) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman and captain currently playing for the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League (AHL) while under contract to the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League (NHL). Monica Goermann (born September 1, 1964) is a Canadian former Gymnastics, gymnast. She is also the owner, artistic director, and choreographer of Monica's Danz Gym.
