Haryana Women's Football Team
The Haryana women's football team is an Indian women's football team representing Haryana in the Senior Women's National Football Championship. They reached the semi-finals at the 2015–16 Senior Women's National Football Championship held at Jabalpur before losing to the eventual runners-up Manipur. Haryana's junior team were the runners-up of the National Junior Girls’ Football tournament 2010–11 held at Chandigarh while, their sub-junior team were the runners-up of the National Sub-Junior Girls’ Football tournament 2014–15 held at Cuttack. The 2015–16 Senior Women's Football Championship was the 21st edition of Senior Women's National Football Championship, the women's state competition in Indian football. The tournament qualification round was stated on 12 December 2015 and culminated on 27 December 2015 across five zones – North Zone, South Zone, East Zone, West Zone and North East Zone – throughout the Nation. The final match was played on 15 January 2016 02:30 PM IST at Railway Stadium, Jabalpur between Manipur and Railways. Football has been a sport at the National Games of India since the 1985 edition, while the Women's football tournament was introduced in the 1999 edition. The 1985 National Games was the first modern National Games to be held since its inception in 1924 and was also the first to be held on the lines of the Olympics. 2015 National Games Of India
The 2015 National Games of India, also known as the ''35th National Games of India'' and informally as Kerala 2015, was held from 31 January 2015 to 14 February 2015 across seven districts of Kerala, India. It was the second time that Kerala hosted the national games, the first being when it hosted the 27th National Games in 1987. The opening ceremony took place at Greenfield Stadium, on 31 January 2015 at 6.00 PM. Union Minister of Urban Development, Shri Venkaiah Naidu inaugurated the opening ceremony. The Junior Girl's National Football Championship, is an Indian football girls tournament held for under 19 players. The competition is held every year between the teams representing state associations of India under AIFF. The tournament was instituted by the AIFF in 2001 with the first edition held at Goa.
