The following is a list of characters that first appeared in the ITV soap opera '' Coronation Street'' in 2007, by order of first appearance. Roger Stiles Roger Stiles, played by Andrew Dunn, is a plumber who fixes Janice Battersby's (Vicky Entwistle) heating in January 2007 when her boiler breaks down. After they date twice in the Rovers Return Inn, he invites Janice to go to France with him for a three-month holiday and she accepts. Janice returns alone in March and Roger returns two months later. In 2007, he invests £10,000 in Janice's stepdaughter Leanne's (Jane Danson) restaurant. Charlie Stubbs is a fictional character from the British ITV soap opera ''Coronation Street'', played by Bill Ward. He made his first appearance during the episode broadcast on 10 November 2003 and last appearance on 15 January 2007. Michael Starke (actor)
Michael Starke (born 13 November 1957) is a British actor and singer from Liverpool, England, best known for his role as Thomas 'Sinbad' Sweeney, which he played for sixteen years, in the Channel 4 soap opera ''Brookside'' (initially credited as Mickey Starke). After his departure from ''Brookside'', in October 2000, he appeared in a Christmas 2000 episode of the BBC drama ''Casualty''. In the episode, "A Turn of the Scrooge", broadcast on 16 December 2000, he played the part of Barry Dawson, a loner who is befriended by a widower neighbour (played by Kenneth Colley), following a rooftop accident with Christmas decorations. Melanie Jade 'Mel' Morton is a fictional character from the British ITV soap opera '' Coronation Street''.
