Harry Kewell Medal
The PFA Harry Kewell Medal is an annual award given for outstanding performance by an under-23 player playing in the A-League or overseas-based Australian. The award has been presented since 2008–09, and the winner is chosen by a vote amongst the members of the players' trade union, Professional Footballers Australia (PFA). It is named after former Australian star Harry Kewell, who represented Australia between 1996 and 2012, and was noted for his achievements from a young age. The first winner of the award was Perth Glory winger Nikita Rukavytsya. The most recent winner is Jordan Bos. As of 2020, only Mathew Ryan has won the award on more than one occasion. Mathew David Ryan (born 8 April 1992) is an Australian professional Association football, footballer who plays as a Goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper for Danish club F.C. Copenhagen and captains the Australia men's national soccer team, Australia national team. Born in Sydney, Ryan played youth football for Marconi Stallions FC, Marconi Stallions, Blacktown City FC, Blacktown City and Central Coast Mariners FC, Central Coast Mariners. He made his senior debut for Blacktown before moving to the Mariners' senior squad in 2010. Mitchell James Langerak ( ; born 22 August 1988) is an Australian professional association football, footballer who plays as a Goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper for J1 League club Nagoya Grampus. Club career Melbourne Victory Langerak signed his first professional contract in February 2007, with A-League club Melbourne Victory FC, Melbourne Victory. Soon after he was sent on loan to South Melbourne FC, South Melbourne for the remainder of the 2007 Victorian Premier League season, to gain game time and experience. Jamie Maclaren
Jamie Maclaren (born 29 July 1993) is an Australian professional soccer player who plays as a striker for A-League club Melbourne City. He has also previously played for Darmstadt 98, Perth Glory, Brisbane Roar and Hibernian. Maclaren initially represented Scotland at youth level, but has since appeared for Australia at both youth and senior international level.
