Harrison Burton
Harrison Brian Burton (born October 9, 2000) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 21 Ford Mustang for Wood Brothers Racing. Racing career Early years Burton's racing career started off when he received a go-kart at age two, which later turned in to a quarter midget at age four. After starting to race them at age twelve, Burton won his first late model race in early 2014. His first super late model win came in early 2015, at New Smyrna Speedway. He was also for three years a USAC quarter midget championship. At age 11, he grabbed his first late model pole at Ace Speedway, and at twelve won two races in pro late models. Huntersville is a large suburban town in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, United States. Dover Motor Speedway
Dover Motor Speedway (formerly Dover Downs International Speedway and later Dover International Speedway) is a race track in Dover, Delaware. The track has hosted at least one NASCAR Cup Series race each year since 1969, including two per year from 1971 to 2020. In addition to NASCAR, the track also hosted United States Auto Club, USAC and the Indy Racing League. The track features one layout, a concrete oval, with 24° banking in the turns and 9° banking on the straights. The speedway is owned and operated by Speedway Motorsports. Quarter Midget Racing
Quarter midget racing is a form of automobile racing. The cars are approximately one-quarter (1/4) the size of a full-size midget car. The adult-size midget being raced during the start of quarter midget racing used an oval track of one-fifth of a mile in length. The child's quarter midget track is one quarter that length, or 1/20 mile (264 feet). An adult-size midget in the 1940s and 1980s could reach 120 miles per hour, while the single-cylinder 7-cubic-inch quarter midget engine could make available a speed of 30 miles per hour in a rookie class (called novices), or one-quarter the speed of the adult car. The 2022 DoorDash 250 was the twelfth stock car race of the 2022 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, and the fifth iteration of the event. 2022 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series
The 2022 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series was the 28th season of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, a stock car racing series sanctioned by NASCAR in the United States. The season started with the NextEra Energy 250 on February 18 at Daytona International Speedway, and concluded with the Lucas Oil 150 on November 4 at Phoenix Raceway. This was the final season of the Truck Series with Camping World as the title sponsor, as CEO Marcus Lemonis announced the brand would not return for the 2023 season. The United Rentals 200 was a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race that took place in the fall at Martinsville Speedway in Virginia. The race was first run in 2003 and was the first fall Truck Series race at Martinsville since the Kroger 250 moved from the fall to the spring in 1999. In 2020, as part of schedule realignment, the fall race became the only Truck Series race at the track as NASCAR decided to give the track one Xfinity Series race instead.
