Harrison Robinson, mononymously known as Harrison, is a Canadian electronic musician from Toronto, Ontario. He is most noted as a two-time Juno Award nominee for Electronic Album of the Year, receiving nods at the Juno Awards of 2017 for ''Checkpoint Titanium'' and at the Juno Awards of 2024 for ''Birds, Bees, the Clouds and the Trees''. Robinson released tracks to SoundCloud before releasing the EP ''Colors'' in 2015. ''Checkpoint Titanium'', his debut full-length album, was released in 2016. SOCAN Songwriting Prize
The SOCAN Songwriting Prize, formerly known as the ECHO Songwriting Prize, is an annual competition recognizing the best in Canadian emerging music, both anglophone and francophone. Established in 2006, the competition was designed to recognize some of the most innovative, creative and artistic songs created in the year preceding the award by emerging songwriters in Canada. Songs are selected by a competition panel composed of 10 music experts from the Canadian music scene, who each nominate two songs based on a set of criteria they believe are the best songs by emerging artists from the past year. The songs are narrowed down to a set of 10 finalists and announced publicly. Fans then vote for the winner over the course of two weeks in June. DijahSB is a rapper based in Toronto, Ontario. They released their debut album ''2020 the Album'' in 2020, followed by their second album ''Head Above the Waters'' in 2021. Career Beginning rapping professionally in 2011, they previously released music under the name Kzaraw and was part of a rap group Class of 93, along with their producer Jermaine “Astro Mega” Clarke.
