Haroon Ismail
Haroon Ismail (born February 27, 1955) is a former tennis professional from Rhodesia and Zimbabwe. Ismail reached his highest ATP singles ranking on February 22, 1982, when he became world Number 95. He became runner-up in the 1980 Dutch Open tennis tournament. In 1981, Ismail won two rounds at the French Open, beating Francisco Gonzalez and Eric Deblicker, before losing to 14th-seed Wojtek Fibak. Harare (; formerly Salisbury ) is the capital and most populous city of Zimbabwe. The city proper has an area of 940 km2 (371 mi2) and a population of 2.12 million in the 2012 census and an estimated 3.12 million in its metropolitan area in 2019. Wojciech Fibak (; popularly Wojtek Fibak ; born 30 August 1952) is a former professional tennis player and Polish entrepreneur and art collector. Fibak is best known for his doubles success with Dutch pro Tom Okker and Australian Kim Warwick, although he also reached the Top 10 in singles. Biography and personal life Born in Poznań, Poland, he won his first tournament in 1976, and between then and 1982 won 15 singles titles and 52 doubles titles. His best year was arguably 1980, when he reached the quarter-finals at the French Open, the US Open and Wimbledon. Francisco González (born November 19, 1955) played professional tennis in the 1970s and 1980s. He represented Paraguay in Davis Cup and played collegiate tennis at the Ohio State University.
