Harold Uren
Harold John Uren (23 August 1885 – 7 April 1955) was an English association football, footballer who played as a midfielder for Liverpool F.C., Liverpool in The Football League. Uren started his career in the reserves at Liverpool and progressed through the ranks to the first team as an amateur. He appeared sporadically during his first three seasons at the club making six appearances during that time, also making appearances at Wrexham A.F.C, Wrexham at the end of the 1906–07 season. He was also part of Great Britain's squad for the Football at the 1908 Summer Olympics, football tournament at the 1908 Summer Olympics, but he did not play in any matches. Uren was born in Barton Regis, near Bristol on 23 August 1885. Uren became a regular in the side in the 1911–12 Football League, 1911–12 season when he appeared 24 times and scored twice. Dick Uren
Richard Uren (26 February 1926 – ) was a rugby union player who played for Waterloo R.F.C. and represented the England national rugby union team four times. He represented Cheshire at both rugby union and golf and was also a successful racing sailor. Biography Uren was born at West Kirby on the Wirral Peninsula.. His father, Harold Uren, was an association footballer who played as an amateur for Liverpool F.C. and as a professional for Everton F.C. West Kirby is a resort town on the north-west corner of the Wirral Peninsula in Merseyside, England, at the mouth of the River Dee, Wales, River Dee. The 1911– 12 season was the 24th season of The Football League. Blackburn Rovers won the First Division title for the first time. Bury and Preston North End were relegated to the Second Division, and their places in the First Division were taken by Derby County and Chelsea.
