Hard (band)
Hard is a Hungarian hard rock supergroup formed in late 2004 in Budapest, Hungary by József Kalapács (ex-vocalist of Pokolgép and ''Omen'', currently also singing in ''Kalapács'') and Gábor Mirkovics (ex-bass guitarist of '' Edda Művek''). The rest of the band consisted of guitarist Zsolt Csillik (ex-''Dance'', ''Jack Daniels'' and ''Fix''), keyboardist Dénes Makovics (also known for playing saxophone in ''Bikini'') and drummer Zoltán Váry (ex-''Sing Sing'', ex-''Zero-G'', guitars–vocals for the Hungarian KISS tribute band ''KISS Forever Band''). In 2005, Ferenc Béres arrived to fill in the position of Dénes Makovics, who was a session member for the studio recording of the first release, “Égni kell”. He played in ''EDDA Művek'' and ''Fix'' beforehand. In 2007, Váry left because of the German success of KISS Forever Band (he couldn't concentrate on Hard enough), so Donászy arrived, who also played in e.g. Beatrice. Baltimoore
Baltimoore is a Swedish rock band, led by Swedish singer Björn Lodin. Lodin was originally approached by Elektra Records in 1987 to record a solo album, but Lodin opted to use the moniker ''Baltimoore'' rather than his own name. In 1992, Lodin relocated to Åland, Finland, where he met Bulgarian-born guitarist Nikolo Kotzev. They joined forces for two Baltimoore albums, ''Double Density'' and ''Thought for Food''. Due to personal and musical differences, Kotzev left the band in 1994 to start his own project, Brazen Abbot. Baltimoore was then on hiatus until 2000, when Lodin resurfaced with ''Original Sin''. He would move back to Sweden the same year. In 2006, the band ended its relationship with Finnish record label Lion Music to start up their own label, BLP Music, on which their two latest albums, ''Kaleidoscope'' and ''X'' (both 2006), are released. Supergroup (music)
A supergroup is a musical group whose members are successful as solo artists or as members of other successful groups. The term became popular in the late 1960s when members of already successful rock groups recorded albums together, after which they normally disband. Charity supergroups, in which prominent musicians perform or record together in support of a particular cause, have been common since the 1980s. The term is most common context of rock and pop music, but it has occasionally been applied to other musical genres.
