Happy Quinton Jele (born 1 January 1987) is a South African association football retired player who played as a defender and captained the Orlando Pirates FC in the South African Premier Division. Mostly regarded as a club legend for the Soweto based giants,Jele holds the record for having the most appearances for Orlando Pirates . Middelburg, Mpumalanga
Middelburg is a large farming and industrial town in the South African province of Mpumalanga. History It was initially established as a halfway station between Lydenburg and Pretoria by the Republic of Lydenburg in 1860. That republic would merge with the South African Republic (ZAR) soon afterwards. The proposed town was established on two farms, ''Klipfontein'' and ''Keerom'' but when the Dutch Reformed Church established a church next door on the farm ''Sterkfontein'', the town would be moved there. It was established as Nasareth, in 1864 by the Voortrekkers on the banks of the Klein Olifants River. It was changed in 1872 to Middelburg to mark its location between the Transvaal capital Pretoria, and the gold mining town of Lydenburg. The Dutch Reformed church was built in 1890. The British built a large concentration camp in Middelburg during the Second Boer War. 2013–14 Nedbank Cup
The Nedbank Cup is a South African club football (soccer) tournament. The knockout tournament, based on the English FA Cup format, was one of a weak opponent facing a stronger one. The competition was sponsored by ABSA until 2007, after which Nedbank took over sponsorship. The winner of the 2013–14 Nedbank Cup qualified for the 2015 CAF Confederation Cup. The 2020 MTN 8 was the 46th edition of South Africa's annual soccer cup competition, the MTN 8. It featured the top eight teams of the Premier Soccer League at the end of the 2019–20 season. MTN 8 is the current branding for a South African soccer cup competition launched in 1972 for teams who finished in the top 8 positions of the league table of the country's preceding top-flight league (currently the DStv Premiership) season. 2010–11 Telkom Knockout
The 2010 Telkom Knockout was a football (soccer) knockout competition which comprised the 16 teams in the South African Premier Soccer League. It was the 19th tournament, and the fifth under the Telkom Knockout name. The tournament is effectively South Africa's league cup, as entry is open only to clubs in the top league. The cup is usually played in the first half of the season. The tournament began on 23 October, and it ended on 4 December 2010. Kaizer Chiefs won their 9th title, by defeating Orlando Pirates 3–0 in the final at Soccer City. In all matches there has to be a winner on the day, which will be decided if there is a winner after full-time (90 minutes). If teams are tied at full-time, then extra time is played; penalties will decide the winner if the scores are still even (there is no golden goal rule). Telkom Knockout
The Telkom Knockout was a South African professional football knockout competition which comprised the 16 teams in the South African Premier Soccer League. The competition was established in 1982 and was first known as the Datsun Challenge. Under the new NSL regime in 1984, it became known as the ''JPS Knockout Cup''. It used this name until 1992 when it became known as the ''Coca-Cola Cup''. It was sponsored by the drinks manufacturer until 1996, when it was replaced by the ''Rothmans Cup'' which was changed back to the ''Coca-Cola Cup'' in 2001 due to the new rules regarding tobacco sponsorship in sport.
