Hans Von Blixen-Finecke
Baron Hans Gustaf von Blixen-Finecke (25 July 1886 – 26 September 1917) was a Swedish officer and equestrian who won a bronze medal in dressage at the 1912 Summer Olympics. He died in an aeroplane crash in 1917. Early life Von Blixen-Finecke was born on 25 July 1886 at Näsbyholm Castle, Sweden. He was the grandson of Carl Frederik Blixen-Finecke, and the son of Baron Fredrik von Blixen-Finecke, a ''Hovjägmästare'', and his wife Countess Clara Krag-Juel-Wind-Frijs. He was both the twin brother of Bror von Blixen-Finecke, a famed professional hunter in Africa, and a brother-in-law of writer Karen Blixen. Hans had experienced a failed love affair with Karen Blixen, who then accepted an offer of marriage from Hans' brother. Näsbyholm Castle
Näsbyholm Castle ( sv, Näsbyholms slott) is a manor at Skurup Municipality Scania, Sweden. Näsbyholm is situated approximately west of Skurup History Näsbyholm was known since the 14th century as a fortified castle that was demolished 1865. After a fire in 1955, the current manor house was erected 1957. In 1994 the east wing was added. In 1744, the estate was acquired by Danish captain Christian Henrik von Finecke who in 1756 made Näsbyholm a fideicommiss. Academy Award For Best Supporting Actor
The Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor is an award presented annually by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS). It is given in honor of an actor who has delivered an outstanding performance in a supporting role while working within the film industry. The award is traditionally presented by the previous year's Best Supporting Actress winner. At the 9th Academy Awards ceremony held in 1937, Walter Brennan was the first winner of this award for his role in '' Come and Get It''. Klaus Maria Brandauer
Klaus Maria Brandauer (; born Klaus Georg Steng; 22 June 1943) is an Austrian actor and director. He is also a professor at the Max Reinhardt Seminar. Eventing
Eventing (also known as three day eventing or horse trials) is an equestrian event where a single horse and rider combine and compete against other competitors across the three disciplines of dressage, cross-country, and show jumping. This event has its roots in a comprehensive cavalry test that required mastery of several types of riding. The competition may be run as a one-day event (ODE), where all three events are completed in one day (dressage, followed by show jumping and then the cross-country phase) or a three-day event (3DE), which is more commonly now run over four days, with dressage on the first two days, followed by cross-country the next day and then show jumping in reverse order on the final day. Baron Nils Gustaf Fredrik Bror "Hans" von Blixen-Finecke Jr. (20 July 1916 – 16 February 2005) was a Swedish Army officer and horse rider. He competed in the three-day eventing at the 1952 and 1956 Summer Olympics and won individual and team gold medals in 1952. Early life Von Blixen-Finecke was born on 20 July 1916 in Linköping, Sweden, the son of Baron Hans von Blixen-Finecke, who won an Olympic bronze in dressage in 1912, and his wife Baroness Brita Trolle. He was the nephew of Bror von Blixen-Finecke and writer Karen Blixen. He was born as Nils Gustaf Fredrik Bror, but since the age of one was called Hans after his father, who died in an airplane crash.
