Hans Jorgen Nielsen (born November 18, 1952) is a former American football kicker who played for the Chicago Bears in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Michigan State University. College career Nielsen played college football at Michigan State from 1976–1977. Hans Nielsen (composer)
Hans Nielsen (1580–1626) was a Danish composer. He was sent with Melchior Borchgrevinck, Truid Aagesen, Wilhelm Egbertsen, and Mogens Pedersøn to study with Giovanni Gabrieli in Venice 1599–1600. A result of his studies was his Opus 1 madrigal collection of 1606, published under his Italianized name Giovanni Fonteio. This set of 21 madrigals was the first such collection by a Danish composer, two years before Pedersøn's. Hans Nielsen (actor)
Hans Albert Nielsen (30 November 1911 – 11 October 1965) was a German film actor. He appeared in more than 130 films between 1937 and 1965. Biography Hans Albert Nielsen was born in Hamburg, Germany. He first got an education in business, but afterward, began taking private acting lessons from Albrecht Schoenhals and Erich Ziegel. He made his stage debut in Hamburg in 1932, after which he worked in Augsburg, Kiel, Leipzig, Berlin, Munich and Düsseldorf. Many actors and performing artists fled Nazi Germany, but Nielsen remained. He made his film debut in 1937 in ''Daphne and the Diplomat'', followed by German movies, such as ''Heimat'' (with Zarah Leander), ''Friedrich Schiller – The Triumph of a Genius'' (with Horst Caspar) and ''The Great King'' (with Otto Gebühr). After World War II, Nielsen performed in a Kabarett group, ''Die Außenseiter'' ("The Outsider") and played in revues by cabaret artist Günter Neumann. Hans Jacob Nielsen (2 September 1899 in Næstved – 6 February 1967 in Aalborg) was a Danish featherweight and lightweight boxer who competed in the 1920s. He was reigning world champion between 1924 and 1928 after winning the gold medal in boxing at the 1924 Summer Olympics in the lightweight category, defeating Alfredo Copello in the final. His first Olympic appearance was at the 1920 Antwerp Games when he was eliminated in the second round of the featherweight class after losing his fight to James Cater. At the Amsterdam Olympics in 1928, Nielsen tried to defend his Olympic title in the lightweight division but lost in the semifinal to the eventual gold medalist Carlo Orlandi. Hans Christian Wedelsted Nielsen (10 May 1928 – 5 March 1990) was a Danish amateur association football defender. He played 25 matches for the Danish national team from May 1958 to June 1961, and won a silver medal at the 1960 Summer Olympics. Hans Nielsen (speedway Rider)
Hans Hollen Nielsen (born 26 December 1959) is a Danish former professional motorcycle speedway rider. He competed in the Speedway World Championships from 1977 to 1999. Nielsen is notable for winning four Speedway World Championship titles. During his career, he won a total of 22 World Championships, making him arguably the most successful speedway rider of all time. In 2012, Nielsen was named an FIM Legend for his motorcycling achievements. He later managed the Danish national team. Career Nielsen was born in Arentsminde near Brovst, Denmark. Hans Peter Nielsen (29 April 1852 in Vejstrup – 17 September 1928 in Vejstrup) was a Danish farmer and politician. Nielsen was the son of Niels Hansen (1817–1906) and Karen Hansdatter. His grandfather was Hans Christensen, also a farmer and politician. Nielsen received his education in a private school, followed by a year in 1869–1870 at Vejstrup College and then Gedved Seminarium. His studies were interrupted by military service at Odense. In 1878 he married Gunhild Knudsen, daughter of jeweler Knudsen from Copenhagen, and between 1878 and 1885 they lived on a farm in Vejstrup. In December 1882 he became politically active with the Oure-Vejstrup Parish, of which he was a member for six years, the last three years as chairman. In 1892 he was elected to the Svendborg County Council as his father's successor. Hans Jacob Nilsen (8 November 1897 – 6 March 1957) was a Norwegian actor, theatre director and film director. He was a theatre director at Den Nationale Scene, at Folketeatret, and for two separate periods at Det Norske Teatret. Personal life Nilsen was born in Fredrikstad, a son of Otto Marquard Orning Nilsen and Sara Lorentzen. He married Sophie Munch Roede in 1958. Their daughter Grethe Nilsen was married to politician Knut Frydenlund. He died in Oslo on 6 March 1957.
