Hans Gabrielsen
Hans Julius Gabrielsen (8 January 1891–10 March 1965) was a Norwegian jurist and politician for the Liberal Party. He is best known as County Governor of Finnmark and County Governor of Oppland, as well as Consultative Councillor of State for Finnmark Affairs in 1945. Gabrielsen played a central role in organizing the civilian side of Norwegian war effort in Northern Norway during the 1940 Norwegian Campaign. After the end of that campaign he led the Norwegian attempts at retaining some of their armed forces outside German control, before being arrested by the Germans and placed in concentration camp. After the war Gabrielsen became a cabinet member and led the early reconstruction efforts in the northernmost parts of Norway. Kristiania
Oslo ( , , or ; sma, Oslove) is the capital and most populous city of Norway. It constitutes both a county and a municipality. Svanvik, Finnmark
Svanvik ( fkv, Jouttenlahti) is a village in the municipality of Sør-Varanger in Troms og Finnmark, Norway. It is located south of Kirkenes and its on the north bank of Svanevatn, a lake in the Paatsjoki basin. The village had a population of 250 in 2019. Svanvik Church, Pasvik Folk College and Øvre Pasvik National Park are located in Svanvik. Svanvik has its own primary and secondary school, Pasvik School. Garnisonen I Sør-Varanger
Garnisonen ("Garrison") is a city district in Linköping, which was previously the site of the two military units closed down in July 1997, Life Grenadier Regiment (I 4) and Svea Artillery Regiment (A 1). In 2000, the district was formed by division of Ekkällan. The area is still under development, and there are homes, schools, recreation centers, grocery stores, offices and more. There are also many public sector agencies such as Linköping District Court, Police, Prosecutor's office, Probation Service and the Swedish National Laboratory of Forensic Science. In the western part of the area is a Garrison Museum. The number of inhabitants in December 2008 was 1070. Districts adjoining Garnisonen are East Valla, Ekkällan, Ramshäll, Berga and Djurgården. Goahti
A goahti (Northern Sámi), goahte (Lule Sámi), gåhte (Pite Sámi), gåhtie (Ume Sámi) or gåetie (Southern Sámi), (also ''gábma''), (Norwegian: ''gamme'', Finnish: ''kota'', Swedish: ''kåta''), is a Sami hut or tent of three types of covering: fabric, peat moss or timber. The fabric-covered goahti looks very similar to a Sami lavvu, but often constructed slightly larger. In its tent version the goahti is also called a 'curved pole' lavvu, or a 'bread box' lavvu as the shape is more elongated while the lavvu is in a circular shape.
