Hans Eskilsson
Hans Vimmo Eskilsson (born 23 January 1966) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a striker and defender. Starting off his career with IFK Östersund, he went on to represent clubs such as IFK Norrköping, Hammarby IF, Sporting CP, Braga, AIK, and Hearts during a career that spanned between 1983 and 2003. A full international between 1988 and 1990, he won eight caps for the Sweden national team and scored two goals. He was a part of the Sweden Olympic team that competed at the 1988 Summer Olympics. Östersund
Östersund (; sma, Staare) is an urban area (city) in Jämtland in the middle of Sweden. It is the seat of Östersund Municipality and the capital of Jämtland County. Östersund is located at the shores of Sweden's fifth-largest lake, Storsjön, opposite the island Frösön. It is the only city in Jämtland. In sport, a cap is a player's appearance in a game at international level. The term dates from the practice in the United Kingdom of awarding a cap to every player in an international match of rugby football and association football. In the early days of football, the concept of each team wearing a set of matching shirts had not been universally adopted, so each side would distinguish itself from the other by wearing a specific sort of cap. An early illustration of the first international football match between Scotland and England in 1872 shows the Scottish players wearing cowls, and the English wearing a variety of school caps. The fixture between AIK and Hammarby is a local derby in Stockholm, Sweden. History The clubs first met in a competitive game in 1920. Rivalry culture The rivalry between AIK and Hammarby is one of the most important derbies in Sweden. AIK and Hammarby are clubs with considerable support in Sweden; in 2015, two of the games between these two teams had an attendance of 41 063 and 41 630 respectively. 23 of September 2018 a derby between these two teams had an attendance of 49,034. Daniel Hoch
Daniel Lars Hoch (born 11 May 1979) is a Swedish former football player who played as a striker. He moved from IF Brommapojkarna to AIK in 1997, where he got his senior debut. After nine seasons at AIK, he moved abroad to play for Danish Superliga club Aalborg BK (AaB) in January 2006. In his first months at AaB, he was recovering from an injury, and after only nine games and two goals, he left the club again in July 2006. He returned to Sweden to play for Assyriska FF. In 2007, he signed for Swedish Superettan-club IK Sirius where he scored 20 goals in two seasons. Despite of speculations about him leaving the club he signed a new contract in 2009. Pétur Marteinsson
Pétur Hafliði Marteinsson (born 14 July 1973) is a retired Icelandic football player. He played for Hammarby IF in Sweden, Stabæk in Norway and Stoke City in England during his professional career. Marteinsson was capped 36 times and scored one goal while playing for Iceland. He is the son of former Icelandic international player Marteinn Geirsson. Club career Marteinsson was born in ReykjavÃk and started his career in Fram. He moved to Swedish club Hammarby IF in 1996 where he was a great success. A sought-after defender, Marteinsson was bought by the Norwegian club Stabæk, coached by Anders Linderoth. Superettan (; meaning the super first (division)) is an association football league and the second highest league in the league system of Swedish men's football. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with Allsvenskan and Division 1. Seasons run from April to October, with teams playing 30 matches each, totalling 240 matches in the season. The league was created in 2000. The 1995–96 Scottish Premier Division season was the second season involving a relegation playoff with the Scottish First Division. The season began on 26 August 1995.
