Hans Edvard Wisløff
Hans Edvard Wisløff (1902–1969) was a Norwegian theologian and writer. He was also the Bishop of the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland from 1959 until his death in 1969. Wisløff received his Cand.theol. Candidatus theologiæ (male), Candidata theologiæ (female), abbreviated cand. theol. is an academic degree with a long tradition, awarded after a six-year higher education in theology in Iceland, Denmark, and Norway. Moss, Norway
is a coastal town and a municipality in Viken county, Norway. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Moss. The city of Moss was established as a municipality on 1 January 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt) and City in 1720. The rural municipality of Jeløy was merged with the city on 1 July 1943. The former municipality of Rygge was merged into it on January 1, 2020. Its administrative district covers areas east of the town, such as the island of Dillingøy in the lake Vansjø. Bjarne Odd Weider
Bjarne Odd Weider (1913—1985) was the Bishop of the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland from 1969 until 1982. Weider was born on 17 June 1913 in Trondheim, Norway. He received his Cand.theol. degree in 1936 from the MF Norwegian School of Theology in Oslo. For several years he worked for the Norwegian Missionary Society. He was a parish priest in Hurdal from 1955 until 1961. He was the rector at the MF Norwegian School of Theology from 1961 until 1969. In 1969 he was appointed bishop of the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland. He held that post until his retirement in 1982. Wollert Krohn-Hansen
Wollert Krohn-Hansen (28 December 1889—3 April 1973) was a Norwegian theologian and pastor. He was the Bishop of the Diocese of Hålogaland from 1940 until 1952, and was instrumental in dividing it into two smaller dioceses. After the division of the diocese, he was appointed as the first Bishop of the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland from 1952 until his retirement in 1959. Biography He was born at Kristiansund in Møre og Romsdal, Norway. In 1914, he received his Cand.theol. degree from the MF Norwegian School of Theology in Oslo. In 1915 he began his career as a parish priest in Værøy and Røst. He worked there until 1922 when he moved to Ofoten. From 1929 until 1936 he was the priest of Narvik. Carl Fredrik Wisløff (31 December 1908 – 25 June 2004) was a Norwegian Lutheran theologian and preacher, who spent much of his professional career at the MF Norwegian School of Theology. Tøyen Church
Tøyen is a residential area in the central parts of Oslo, Norway, part of the borough of Gamle Oslo. Location There are two different stations which carry the name Tøyen. Tøyen Railway Station is located on the Gjøvik Line, while Tøyen T-bane Station on the shared stretch just east of the downtown area. The railway station is about 750 metres northeast of the subway station. Above the Tøyen subway station is a shopping centre. Oppegård is an area in Nordre Follo, Viken, Norway. Oppegård was a municipality in the former county Akershus. It is part of the traditional region of Follo. Oslo
