Hanna Teerijoki
Hanna Elisabeth Teerijoki (born 15 July 1963) is a Finnish multi-sport athlete and the only European to represent their country on the national team in six different sports. Best known as a bandy and ice hockey player, she won a sum of 26 Finnish Championships in association football, bandy and rink bandy, field hockey, and golf, and two Swedish Championships in ice hockey. Bandy career Teerijoki began playing bandy as a child with the bandy club Veitsiluodon Vastus in her home town of Kemi, a town on the southwestern coast of Lapland. As the club did not have teams for girls, she played on the boys' junior teams and was noted as a skilled player from an early age. She won the Finnish Championship (SM) in boys' under-12 () bandy with Vastus in 1974. Kemi
Kemi (; sme, Giepma ; smn, Kiemâ; sms, Ǩeeʹmm; Swedish (historically): ''Kiemi'') is a town and municipality of Finland. It is located very near the city of Tornio and the Swedish border. Ice Hockey
Ice hockey (or simply hockey) is a team sport played on ice skates, usually on an ice skating rink with lines and markings specific to the sport. It belongs to a family of sports called hockey. List Of Norwegian Women Bandy Champions
This list of Norwegian women bandy champions shows all champions since the start. Championship for men's teams have been played since 1912, while championship for women's teams have been played since 1984. The winner of the men's teams championship is given a trophy called ''kongepokal'' ("king's cyp"). A ''kongepokal'' was also given to the women's teams champions 1986–1995, but has since not been awarded the women champions because of too few participating teams in the championship tournament. The premier league for women's teams consists of six teams. The top four teams go to a play-off for the championship. The women's championships has been played with teams with fewer players than the regular number of eleven from the official start in 1984, but the number of players has gradually been raised; since 2010 the women's championships is played with nine-player teams. The Swedish Bandy Association ( sv, Svenska Bandyförbundet) is the governing body of bandy in Sweden. It organizes the bandy leagues, Elitserien and Allsvenskan for men and Damallsvenskan for women, and the men's and women's national teams. It was established in Stockholm on 5 April 1925, and is based in Stockholm, after moving from Katrineholm. It is a founding member of FIB, Federation of International Bandy. Bandy was introduced 1895 in Sweden by all round athlete Clarence von Rosen. He picked the game up during a visit in bandy's home country Great Britain. He started the first bandy club in Sweden, Stockholm Hockeyklubb. First in 1905 bandy was organized within Swedish Ballgame Association and a year later within Swedish Football Association.
