Dato Hanifah Hajar Taib also known as Hanifah Hajar Taib-Alsree (born 1972) is a Malaysian politician and businesswoman who has served as the Deputy Minister of Economy in the Pakatan Harapan (PH) administration under Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and Minister Rafizi Ramli since December 2022 and the Member of Parliament (MP) for Mukah since May 2018. He served as the Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department in charge of Sabah and Sarawak Affairs for the second term in the Barisan Nasional (BN) administration under former Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob and Minister Maximus Ongkili from August 2021 to the collapse of the PN administration in November 2022 and the first term in the Perikatan Nasional (PN) administration under former Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin and Minister Maximus Ongkili from March 2020 to August 2021. Malay Titles
The Malay language has a complex system of styles, titles and honorifics which are used extensively in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and the southern Philippines. Brunei, Malaysia, Singapore and several provinces in Indonesia regularly award honorary and life titles. What follows in this article is specific to the Malaysian system. Muhammad Leo Michael Toyad bin Abdullah ( Jawi: محمد ليو ميکائيل توياد بن عبدالله; born 11 April 1950) is a Malaysian politician. He is the former Member of the Parliament of Malaysia for the Mukah constituency in Sarawak, representing the Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) in the ruling Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition. Toyad was first elected to Parliament in the 1982 election. In 1987 he became Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, and after the 2004 election he joined the full ministry of Prime Minister Abdullah Badawi as Minister for Tourism . He was dropped from the ministry 2006, in a move that surprised observers, to be replaced by Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor. Pakatan Harapan
The Alliance of Hope ( ms, Pakatan Harapan; abbrev: PH; stylized as HARAPAN) is a Malaysian political coalition consisting of centre-left political parties which was formed in 2015 to succeed the Pakatan Rakyat coalition. It has been the ruling coalition since November 2022 after it formed the coalition government with other political coalitions and parties as a result of the 2022 Malaysian general election, and after it won the 2018 Malaysian general election to February 2020 when it lost power as a result of the 2020 Malaysian political crisis at the federal level for 22 months. Datuk Syed Ahmad Alwee Alsree ( ar, سيد أحمد علوي السري ') is the Group Executive Director of Cahya Mata Sarawak Berhad (CMSB). He is married to a daughter of Abdul Taib Mahmud where the latter is the Sarawak chief minister. He was originally from Singapore but he has since moved to Kuching when he had earlier joined Cahya Mata Sarawak Berhad in February 2004 as Group General Manager – Human Resources. He was appointed as Group Executive Director of CMSB on 19 August 2008 following an earlier appointment as Deputy Group Managing Director in September 2006. Abdul Taib bin Mahmud ( Jawi: عبدالطيب بن محمود; born 21 May 1936) is a Malaysian politician who has served as the 7th Yang di-Pertua Negeri of Sarawak since March 2014. The National Alliance ( ms, Perikatan Nasional; abbrev: PN) is a political coalition composed of the Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU), Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS) and Parti Gerakan Rakyat Malaysia (GERAKAN). This coalition was preceded by the Malaysian Party Alliance Association, also known as the ''Persatuan Perikatan Parti Malaysia (PPPM)''.
