Hamoodur Rehman Commission
The Hamoodur Rahman Commission (otherwise known as War Enquiry Commission), was a judicial inquiry commission that assessed Pakistan's political–military involvement in East-Pakistan from 1947 to 1971. The commission was set up on 26 December 1971 by the Government of Pakistan and chaired under Chief Justice Hamoodur Rahman. Constituted "to prepare a full and complete account of the circumstances surrounding the atrocities and 1971 war", including the "circumstances in which the Commander of the Eastern Military Command, surrendered the Eastern contingent forces under his command laid down their arms." The commission's final report was very lengthy and provided an analysis based on extensive interviews and testimonies. Sindh High Court
The High Court of Sindh ( ur, ) is the highest judicial institution of the Pakistani province of Sindh. Established in 1906, the Court situated in the provincial capital at Karachi. Apart from being the highest Court of Appeal for Sindh in civil and criminal matters, the Court was the District Court and the Court of Session in Karachi. Justice Tufail Ali Abdul Rahman was born in Karachi, Sindh in 1921 and belonged to a highly respectable family that produced a lot of legal professionals, government officers and people actively involved in the education sector. Sheikh Anwarul Haq
Chief Justice Sheikh Anwarul Haq (Punjabi and ur, شیخ انوار الحق‎; 11 May 1917 – 3 March 1995), was a Pakistani jurist and an academic who served as the 9th Chief Justice of Pakistan from 23 September 1977 until resigning on 25 March 1981. He hanged Z.A Bhutto in a controversial murder case on April 4, 1977.
