Monique Taylor
Monique Taylor (born 28 June 1972) is a Canadian politician in Ontario, Canada. She is a New Democratic member of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario who represents the riding of Hamilton Mountain. She has been an MPP since 2011. Background Taylor was born in east end of Hamilton and grew up in the city. She has worked as a waitress and most recently as administrative assistant to Hamilton City Councillor Scott Duvall. 2007 Ontario Electoral Reform Referendum
A referendum was held on October 10, 2007, on the question of whether to establish a mixed member proportional representation (MMP) system for elections to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. The vote was strongly in favour of the existing plurality voting or first-past-the-post (FPTP) system. John Roxborough Smith
John Roxburgh Smith (November 10, 1936 – December 6, 2018), listed in some directories as John Roxborough Smith, was a Canadian politician, who represented the electoral district of Hamilton Mountain in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1967 to 1977 as a Progressive Conservative member. Brian Albert Charlton (born May 22, 1947) is a former politician in Ontario, Canada. He was a New Democratic member of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1977 to 1995 who represented the riding of Hamilton Mountain. He served as a cabinet minister in the government of Bob Rae.
