Hamidreza Pejman
Hamidreza Pejman ( fa, حمیدرضا پژمان, born 1980) is an Iranian collector, patron, film producer and the founder and director of Pejman Foundation. Biography Pejman earned a bachelor's degree in Theater Directing at Sooreh Art University in Tehran, followed by a bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering from Tehran's Azad University. His interest in art began when he was a university student; he started collecting art pieces in 2013 and over time, he made a collection of contemporary art pieces from both Iranian and international artists with a stronger focus on Iranian artists. Hamidreza Pejman's independent and nonprofit art foundation was established in 2015 in Tehran and has been supporting many Iranian and foreign artists for recent years. Tehran
Tehran (; fa, تهران ) is the largest city in Tehran Province and the capital of Iran. Argo Factory
Argo Factory (Persian language, Persian: کارخانه آرگو), is a contemporary art museum and cultural centre housed in a former brewery in Tehran, Tehran, Iran. Argo Factory is part of the Pejman Foundation’s sites. HistoryArgo Factory is a 100 year old building which once used to be one of the major drink manufacturing factories in Iran during the 1960s and 1970s. Its construction dates back to early 1920s as one of the first industrial factories in Iran. It was closed down in 1970s due to environmental issues and it was not reopened after the Iranian Revolution, Islamic Revolution. In 2016, Pejman Foundation acquired and reconstructed the Argo Factory and turned into one of its multiple sites. The factory got its name Argo, from "the name of the beer once made there".
